Actually, those are quite reasonable size for this variety of tomatoes, in France we call it bullheart variety. But you won't see it much in supermarket because of their ugly shapes. But much more tasty than the ones imported.

in italy they are called the same "cuore di bue" (bullheart) but the tomatoes in the picture are a different tomato breed and it's a lot smaller: we use them to make tomatoes stuffed with rice. i can't remember their breed name 😅 bullheart tomatoes are light red and aren't a sphere, they have bumps that make them look like an heart :)

Except that the oysters that make pearls are not the same as the ones that you eat. Edible oysters belong to the family ostreidae, while pearl oysters, or pinctada, are part of the pteriidae family (and apparently taste foul).

That's the Brazilian variety, so no guac (ok, you can, but its gonna taste different), but a lot of smoothies. 2kg is about double of the average size and the pit is not much bigger than the pit size found in the tiny avocado varieties, so it's fuuuuull of "meat"

Oooh...now I’m hungry for collards; haven’t had any since my dad passed away in 2017. Learned to garden watching him, but I’ve never grown them myself. So good when they’re simply sautéed, or boiled with nothing more than salt, pepper, and some Cajun Chef vinegar sauce splashed on them (at least that’s how I like it, although my parents always added bacon drippings or a ham hock added)

I think a combination of a long difficult period followed by an excellent one... First the branches grew too little apart, OK as they expected tiny/failed grapes; then the grapes did really well (much sun+rain) and filled up all space.

Not for Graeters. They use the French Pot method, pouring liquid chocolate into chilled pots with cream. The chocolate breaks off in chunks and has long been a fan favorite. It's made in 2-gallon batches at a time and hand packed into containers. Their signature flavor is Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip (chunk), but there are other flavors that get the same treatment. Not a fail at all. It's Oprah's favorite ice cream.

Yeah, king Bolete would be my guess as well although obviously I would need to see & feel the mushroom to give more definitive answers - and even then I am but an amateur when it comes to mushroom hunting (although I do know a lot more than your average joe - I collect mushrooms from our forests every fall). Boletus Satanas this is not. This is not a "red boletus" by any means. Most likely edible but somewhat old already; I'd guess the bottom part of the hat is already soft and slimy, which isn't very appetising. King Bolete is quite common in my country so usually we have a lot of them during the mushroom season. Very popular mushroom, definitely and can grow very big. I've seen bigger than this although usually the big ones are too old to eat anymore...
