Birds have adapted to power lines and even find them useful for safe nesting spaces. Wind turbines are not at all bird friendly.

You do know thst tjosr power lines just transfer the ekectricity fromthe power stwtuon to where its needed? The fossil fuel power stations that are likelt to be powering those lines have contributed to the decline in 90% of bird species....so not so bird friendly I'm afraid.

Would've been a lot cooler if instead of directly over, the shot was taken from above AND in front, so we could see the whole statue.

something like that. There was a football game and a celebration for the 100th Birthday of a bulgarian football team called Levski. This is the Vasil Levski National Stadium.

Why the down votes? The terrain and the walls of the church are red because of a sludge (red mud) cathastophe :/

Yep.....the pollution in Houston is like that. In certain areas the sky looks green and purple at night. I thought that it was normal til I moved up here to East Texas. Here the skies are clearer, no pollution, and at night you can see the stars. I live out in the country now and I hope that I will never live in or near a city again.
