Ohmygodtehyresocute!!! *faints* They must be Pyrenese Mountain dogs or a similar breed. Giants when they are grown up (and fairly serious guard dogs) but the cutest plushballs imaginable when they are little. I'm very envious of Dad. I recently had the super rare privilege to cuddle a Maremanno D'Abruzzo puppy (the Italian version). I still melt every time I think of it <3

Be forewarned: They are the most loveable little jerks you will ever encounter. I have one and he can be stubborn and irritating like no other. Then when I'm finally ready to beat the tar out of him, he starts to do his little snuggle thing. It's just not fair. Lol. xD

My vet told me I was soft and gave my dog a resounding slap on her flank! She then stood like a statue while he clipped her nails and trembled for 2 hours afterwards. We don't go to that vet any more.

Our German Shepherd mix hated it so much it took 4-5 people to hold him down. Every time, they thought I was exaggerating and wanted me to take him to the groomer (it was part of their business). We would give him a mild sedative to help before we took him in. He was really good for every thing else that was done to him. I think that maybe why they didn't believe me.

When vets liked my cats, I was pleased. A vet said of one, "Yes, he's a gentleman". (The vet also had clients who were jerks, such as the pawing/scratching dog with the lady who didn't give a s**t). My other cat was in intensive care for a week. When I brought her in for followup, one of the vets grabbed her and gave her a big kiss! :)

Unfortunately some animal hospitals are nothing but money grubbing corporations. A place called AVES comes to mind. Some really care though and will go the extra mile. I just wish that pet insurance paid up front so that more people could afford the care their pets need.

I worked a long time in a veterinary center ( as an assistant ) and it was amazing . I had to left it ( to my regret ) because the vet was an absolut bastard; he sometimes treated animals badly and took advantage of their illness to make more money . I hope someday I'll work in a clinic with a professional veterinarian that really loves animals .
