Turns out, it's not just the mysterious, elusive G-spot men have a hard time locating on a woman's body.
Some of them are so oblivious, so misinformed about the female reproductive system, you can't help but wonder what they had been up to during their biology classes. Maybe reading the memoirs of an 80-year-old grumpy alien virgin? I don't know.
But there's even a subreddit dedicated to their ignorance. It's called r/BadWomensAnatomy. This online community, which already has 460,000 members, collects pictures of some of the dumbest things men have said about the clitoris, vagina, and pretty much every other body part you can think of.

Has anyone pointed out that Vaginas don't grow hair? They are always hairless from the time a woman is born until she passes away. He must not know his anatomy.

I had a conversation with someone pushing full moon nonsense. Their rationale was that the moon affects the tides and that the human body is 75% water, therefore the moon affects the human body and even more so on a full moon. Then I said, "you realize that the whole moon is still there even if you don't see it, right? It's not as if a half moon has half the mass. It's just that it has half the sunlight reflecting off it than a full moon.

Sorry, you are 15 years out of date. The argument over a women's G-spot ended many years ago when a scientist (actually looking for the G spot) located the nerve cluster on a dead 87 year old woman body. Donated to science. This is old news. What you see of the clitoris is just a small part of the nerve cluster. The Clitoral Nerves are shaped like a wish bone. What can be viewed is at the top. The rest of the clitoris are shaped like legs and go 6 inches deep into the pelvic area wrapping themselves around the outside of the vigaina and the rectal area. This is why women can have orgasms through a**l sex. If more women were taught this they wouldn't feel that butt sex was dirty or bad. By the way a man's penis doesn't stop at his pelvic bone. It also goes several inches into the body. The G-spot is well understood to be real. Any Gynecologist will tell you this.

Truth be told, the same study we mentioned at the beginning of this text found that some women have problems navigating their body too. For example, 43% of them could not label the labia.
The only part of the female genitalia which the majority of both genders got right was the clitoris, identified correctly by two-thirds of men and women (71% of women, 69% of men).

My puberty ed... where do i start? The whole thing was sponsored by P&G, they told us not to use tampons until we were 15 (why?), they said that cramps could be walked off and they don't hurt to bad (I've had cramps while hiking and exercising before. They don't get walked off, they get worse.), and they didn't even mention endometriosis, how to put in a tampon, or what menstrual blood can look like. On my first time I thought I pooped my pants. My 3rd grade health textbook also basically said that alchohol in any amount is deadly, coffee is the gateway drug to cigarettes, and if you have coffee or alchohol or smoke, you'll probably end up in prison for drug possession.

Back in the 70s a lot of girls were getting sick and even dying from Toxic Shock Syndrome. There was a direct correlation between TSS and tampon use. Since then, between education and product improvements, it's not as much of an issue. Girls were leaving tampons in far longer than they should, and tampons were more "linty," leaving behind debris that could cause irritation and eventually infection. Check the insert or box, there may still be information on TSS with your tampons

I have endometriosis and adenomyosis. I had an active life in the past and had a lot of accidents. I flew out of a cart, broke several bones, fell down the stairs over broken glass etc. I have never experienced pain as bad as my bad period pain. Some women with endo say that for them it was even worse than birth.

I have endo too, but it went undiagnosed until I was 36. So for 24 years, once a month for about 5 days, I was in excruciating pain. Combined, that is FOUR YEARS straight of my life crying, vomiting, fainting, unable to live a normal life, spending a lot of money on pads and meds, and having to be next to a toilet all the time. But sure, didn't happen! :D

I had a coworker who had confided in me that she had to have a full hysterectomy and was really stressing, mainly about sex drive. My Mom worked in the same office, so I took her over and said that this was the woman she needed to talk to (Mom had one after my brother). I politely left the room so they could get all deep in talk - not because I didn't want to know, but I had already asked and been told all about that experience growing up. Long story short - It didn't affect her sex drive; she was always more mentally driven sex wise than hormonally.

Technically a hysterectomy only involves the removal of the uterus so it doesnt affect your hormones at all. The removal of the ovaries is called an oophorectomy but sometimes people call them both hysterectomy and it gets confusing.

They remove the cervix so in that sense, the vagina is "shorter" since the cervix is at the top of the vagina and connected to the uterus. It would not make it a couple of inches shorter, though I will say that deep penetration felt different after my hysterectomy

People will complain about wearing bras, and yet they are willing to spend an arm, a leg and their firstborn child on lingerie which is basically lace and glitter stuck on a really tiny elastic band. It's truly sad, but I see how it happens that US males know nothing about female anatomy or function. If the parents don't teach their boys about it, who will? Not the public schools. They take a few weeks in a school year to cover the highlights, and every parent has the option to allow their child to skip it and many do because they don't want "strangers" teaching this subject to their child.

Uhm..he does know that the number in a bra size indicates the circumference of the strap that goes around her rib cage and that the letter indicates boob or cup size. Changing from a 44 to a 36 means her chest strap is smaller, not her boobs. How is carrying the same weight on a smaller support going to lessen pain?

A lot of animals become fertile before they are supposed to breed. Like dogs that can be fertile with a few months but you should not let them breed until 2 yo. Also gathering hunting women nowadays get their periods very late (averaging 16yo) so it is likely that women arent supposed to have them as early as we do.

I always found the argument that seeing a women's breasts would damage a child's mental health. Children know exactly what breasts are and what they're fir within minutes of being born... Besides, in the late 18th and early 19th centuries it was men's swimsuits that covered the chest because that was what people thought was gross. Women's suits came in both full coverage and topless (so they could breastfeed.)

wooooooow, I had to do full show choreography when I was in Anastasia last month, and I was in HORRIBLE pain. Luckily the guys in the show were sweethearts, and were checking on me, asking if I needed pain meds, or food, or a hug (I love hugs, and we all got tested for covid weekly)

Okay... Googled it and found a few blogs that are, shall we say, questionable. Since the post referenced "lesbians" I went and searched an LGBT site I've become accustomed to. It is a theoretical hormonal condition that is believed to cause a few "mysterious" issues with trans females. There was no information as to whether it was a real condition, who was studying it, or even the names of the doctors/physiologists it is named after

I believe it is named for three women the authors of the theory thought were "butch." Sources differ, but they are presented as Julie Bindel (author/activist), Janice Raymond (author/professor) and Gertrude Stein (author). Like most conspiracy theories, its utterly ridiculous.

My friend Google told me about this syndrome (named after some women that the "authors" of this ridiculousness thought were butch). Apparently, lesbianism is contagious and the main symptoms include women cutting their hair, disliking feminine clothing, and wearing sneakers. But don't worry, this syndrome can be cured with Reparative Therapy if caught in time, because that's also really scientific. Sadly, as I am a middle-aged heterosexual widow, there is no explanation for my preference to wear clothes with a crotch and comfy shoes.

I Googled "Bindel- Raymond- Stein Syndrome" but all the results I got were from sketchy sources, one of which said: "lebisnas, homosexuald and pedophiles have their preferred perversion impinted on their subconscious.". That's actually what was written and how it was spelled.

You give women issues like this...then when something horrible happens, like rape, they are less likely to report it and more likely to commit suicide because they believe it's their fault. How about encouraging them to be responsible, but also being supportive about their decisions since, you know, it's their body...not yours.

I thought it was scary enough when I read about a woman that worked for a Senator who thought women could have their periods at will and that, women who had theirs, were looking for excuses to get out of work and be lazy. The guy was married..WITH KIDS!! You think at some point his wife would have at least explained it to him.

I'm getting an eye roll migraine again. The post (which is probably too far down to hit many people's radar, since there's only so much idiocy a person can take in one sitting) describing the fact that any discussion about our bodies is pornographic, or otherwise sexualised leading to much misinformation is so sad but true. To address a few others: there are 3 holes; periods are gross, yes, but also natural and painful and we dont have any control over them (short of certain birth control options); vaginas are elastic, no amount of penetration will make them "looser"; women are human beings.
