True story. One of my best friends was almost mugged years ago. When he told the mugger in the saddest, most forlorn voice, LOOK MAN, I ONLY HAVE 17 CENTS TO MY NAME. TAKE IT. I DON'T HAVE A PLACE TO GO, NO ONE TO CALL FOR HELP I HAVE NOTHING... The mugger actually sat down with my friend and told him not to lose hope and consoled him.

A friend and I were walking to my car after a late performance when we were approached by a homeless man asking for money. My friend looked him dead in the eyes and said "I'm a college student and an actor," Guy just said "I'm sorry. Have a good night," and walked away. You can't make this s**t up...

What is social awkwardness anyways? Joshua Clegg, a researcher in the field, states that "social awkwardness is what we feel when the situation threatens our goal of being accepted by others." If socially awkward people were to be described in medical terms, their symptoms would be failure to notice social cues, misreading of body language, and finding typical social interactions difficult to traverse.

The feeling in and of itself is mostly harmless, but sometimes it may cause some unwanted reactions like anxiety and stress. But there's nothing wrong with being socially awkward or being in a socially awkward situation. Some suggest thinking of it as a signal from your brain that tries to tell you that this particular social interaction isn't going as one thought it would.

Not in the US. Places like Aldi's do that, but not most stores here. I'd prefer that they do, so people would return their carts and they wouldn't just float around the parking lot, hit cars, or just be in the way in general.

What's a Portuguese Geese? Or, more accurately, who? It's the shadowy figure behind the comic that's been drawing comics since he was 5 years old and started doing webcomics in 2015. He once said that "90% of my work is based off personal experience, mostly awkward ones". One comic takes 2 to 4 hours to create and shading is the trickiest part.

Like any artist, Portuguese Geese has ambitions. "My goals are to eventually publish a collection of my comics in a book, and eventually I plan to make a full-length comic book based on a super hero I created when I was 9. I'd like to say to everyone, if you have a passion, you should pursue it. Don't listen to the haters, if you want to do something, do it!"

If someone wants to make you something for exposure; you wont have to ask them. It wpuld be a gift to you and even then you should be incredibly thankful and credit them any way ypu can and maybe even return the favor
If you like the work of Portuguese Geese, give the comic a follow. It's the reason why these webcomics stay afloat, and artists appreciate every last bit of it. His Instagram has 14.3k followers, but it could easily jump to 15k!

... yeah, a little sticker on the back v. a giant carseat. Those first responders probably wouldn't know to check the giant carseat for a baby if there weren't a little sticker though. (Also, and I say this as a parent, is it ethical to attend to an infant over a young adult?)

The whole point of the baby on board sign is to alert emergency services, good samaritans, etc. that there is a helpless child in the vehicle in case of a serious accident.

I switched schools in the middle of the whole online class thing, and so I had new teachers that I only ever communicated with through email. And so the teachers that I liked/thought they were nice/I felt like comfortable with them; I emailed them starting with "hi" and teachers who I did not like/I was scared of/I thought were mean got their emails addressed with "hello". So, you know, we all gotta have our own little secret victories.
