Anti-vaxxer conspiracies have continued to spread, and because of their beliefs - so have the measles. Oregon and Washington are among eighteen states that allow families to opt-out of vaccines for viral diseases based on philosophical beliefs, which is why these areas have been the most recent hotbed for the measles outbreak. More than 50 people have been infected across Southwest Washington state and Northwest Oregon - and everyone is fed up with the anti-vaccination science deniers.

"It's an outbreak because generally, the way we define an outbreak is when you have more observed cases than expected cases. And generally with measles, the expected number is zero," Dr. Alan Melnick with Clark County Public Health told KOIN6 TV in Portland, Oregon, last week. "You know, we have a very effective vaccine for measles. Two shots are 97 percent effective. So we really shouldn't be seeing measles." Scroll down below to read some of the best comebacks to anti-vaxxers on the internet, and don't forget to upvote your favs! Many anti-vaxxers use the possibility of having an autistic child as one of their debate points - but this autistic person had a counterpoint.

This one I fully concure with. I'm autistic to and not an idiot. During my life I've been headhunted by companies, worked around the world, studied years at university, experienced things few have, been in love , had my heart broken, etc. Yet theese idiots seem to think that I would be better of dead than live my life.

An argument for not vaccinating kids is that it's more natural and therefore healthier- well this user points out that humans created vaccines for a reason.

I struggled with the decision about vaccinations when my children were little. My mother left it up to me but she did tell me how her 3 year old brother died in her arms from diphtheria. He was in pain and agony before he died. That made my decision to vaccinate my children.

Yes. The grand old age of 40 was the life expectancy. Babies dying. Children dying. Teenagers dying. Disease, germs and more disease. No cures or simple medicine.

We all have the right to choose whether or not to be vaccinated. This is a site that denigrates people who choose NOT to be vaccinated. The site fails to mention that the COVID vaccine has killed an estimated 300,000 people so far. They also fail to mention the millions who are permanently disabled by the COVID vaccine.

Look back in history and the horrific medical catastrophies that were a way of life (or rather death) and then carry on with misguided beliefs.science managed to wipe out smallpox which was commonplace in many countries ,would the antivaxxers still refuse to protect themselves and their families . Some of their beliefs and comments seem almost medieval in content ,where do people get the idea that vaccines reduce immunity.!!!

From WHO review: “Global decline of child mortality. In 1800 the health conditions of our ancestors were such that 43% of the world's newborns died before their 5th birthday. These estimates are shown in the visualisation below. In 1960 child mortality was still 18.5%. Almost every 5th child born in that year died in childhood. Over the last decades we have seen a very rapid decline of child mortality globally. In 2015 child mortality was down to 4.3% – 10-fold lower than 2 centuries ago. In North America today, child mortality is less than 1%. You have to take this long perspective to see the progress that we have achieved.

Now they die of Autism and do so at a much younger age than the rest of us after living highly debilitated lives in many cases. At Valley Forge 10,000 of the 12,000 encamped there survived through a tough winter despite having no vaccinations at their disposal and while being inadequately clothed in many cases. Today WITH vaxxinations a group that size would be wiped out. So this notion that without vaxxines early generations died off is a blinkered concept at best.

That's most likely the saddest post that I readed lately. In some countries, parents are fighting to vaccinate their children, while we do NOT want to vaccinate them because of some conspiracy theories. That's just plain stupid.
