The longer people stay inside, the more it seems like animals are ready to take our spaces for themselves. Or maybe they're just curious where all the people have gone? Either way, more and more people report seeing various wild animals lurking in the streets and it seems to be a growing trend.
One video shows a massive herd of sheep running around in the streets of a Turkish city at night, a sight that some would describe as once in a lifetime. Other instances show animals that we might occasionally glimpse on the outskirts of cities braving their way into the city centers.
Most of the people observing such phenomena are either amused or in awe; however, not everyone is happy. "Looks like we won't be getting any rambutan (again) this year," a woman who posted a shot of a monkey on the roof complained. "A horde of monkeys are feasting on the fruits at this very moment."
What are your thoughts on various animals roaming the streets while humans self-isolate at home? Tell us in the comments down below. Oh, and don't forget to vote for your favorites!

Duluth's Mall Is So Empty That A Bear Decided It Was A Good Napping Spot
Maybe the bear decided to go shopping he/she might also need a new fur cut.
How does a bear get that big so early in the season? the mall is closed! That also means the food court too.. I'm amazed
Deer Invade Residential Areas In Toronto, Canada
I get these every day, whether or not I’m inside😂😂these guys have NO FEAR where I live
This is fairly common where I live, even before the pandemic. I live in a pretty big city, but there are lots of parks, woods, and trees all around; the suburbs feel like a bunch of houses were dropped in the woods. So living in a city of a quarter-million people, just a few miles from downtown, I worry about the neighborhood deer coming and eating my garden.
well this is nothing new for me I live in a rural town in BC and I have deer in my yard everyday in fact they are eating my cedar hedge that is why the hedge looks like s**t and half of them are dying. They won't leave it alone
Pssh. There are areas here in Spokane where they've shown up every day no matter how many people are around, pre-pandemic. They know when they've found a spot where no one will shoot them.
A Flock Of Sheep Nearby Mcdonalds In Ebbw Vale, Wales

A Sea Lion Is Seen On A Sidewalk Of Mar Del Plata Harbour During The Lockdown
Oh, first time I see something about my country here! This happens all the time here. Sea lions are really comfortable around people at Mar del Plata's harbour. They smell awful tho.
Is that closed place a fish shop? This big boy wants some fish, lol!
Your fisherman had an ad a sign advertising fish for sale at the local dock...?

It is such a riot watching them. They are so human, we find them captivating.

Coyote On The Streets Of San Francisco During The Coronavirus Shelter In Place Order
I saw a fox in the middle of town yesterday - he was trotting across a bridge (using the sidewalk like a good pedestrian).
It's actually a normal sight in London. We see foxes all the time and they sometimes even walk past you on the same pavement.

If only we could preserve these events and environment once the world "opens up again." Sadly, I fear not. This lockdown has been a once-in-many-lifetimes event! What changes will we make, and what will we have learned?
It is an opportunity to resist going back to that totally screwed up "normal".
Load More Replies...How clean the water in Venice has become is truly a wake up call to play nice with nature
The water isn't really cleaner. It's just that much less boat traffic is there to stir up the silt.
Load More Replies...Deer Running Along Beach At Bluffers Park, Toronto
It is crazy how they vibration of the planet has slowed so far down that they think we are mostly all gone.
I grew up there in the fifties. There was only a thin strip of beach and towering cliffs.. They must have barged the sand in.
bare foot beach goers are going to need to be careful where they step when the people return

A Kangaroo Was Captured Speeding Through The Streets Of Adelaide
Oh! Whew! (Yes, I watched the whole video to be sure this ‘roo came safely through it!) (And, yes, I am thoroughly mad for ‘roos!)
Where else they should go? Irresponsible, cruel people burned down their home, only COVID19 gave them a short break before human monsters get out from their cozy homes and start hunting, massacring them again.
Monkeys Playing In A Pool In Mumbai
Awesome! And he clearly meant to do that, it's not like he just slipped.
Great little swimmer. I wonder if the chlorine will turn their white ruffs green.
Bet those people were like "Ive seen it all now! Monkeys doing cannon balls in our pool!"
While Boar With Its Babies In Bergamo, Italy
Kudos to all you who resisted the urge to play English teacher with the typo xoxo

This little piggy went to market, this little piggy stayed home. This little piggy had roast beef. This little piggy had none. And this little piggy said, we we we all the way home! If you grew up in the 1960's? This was our entertainment while counting our toes! Those little striped piggies are just so cute!
I have never been that close because the second I knew I was in the vicinity of one, I took off. They are so dangerous, esp with their babies. That is quite something!
Gangs Of Turkeys In The Empty Streets Of Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Just for comment, those turkeys are all after that one single female turkey. They are displaying, I.e. turkey flirting. She’s got A LOT of suitors
ha ha ha! this is exactly what I was thinking like "you go girl"
Load More Replies...Louisiana? With meat prices going up they better watch out. They are going to be on someone's menu.
That is very funny! For years I hD A WHOLE TUurky flock going through my back yard, I did put seed out for them. They are HUGE. I have a picture window in the back of my house and I saw one looking in at me. So cute! I had heard walk through on Thanksgiving once. We felt a bit guilty eating one of their cousins~

People Jog Near A Jackal At Hayarkon Park In Tel Aviv, Israel
it is in the same family as Coyote's, Wolves, and Dogs, but is its own species, very common in the middle east
Load More Replies...I wish we in South africa are allowed to jog again. In the beginning no one was allowed outside. You could not even take your dog for a walk. Now we are allowed to jog but only between 6 and 9 in the mornings!!!!! It is winter, so still dark until about 6:30. we start work at 8o'clock. So if you're up for only a quick 2 or 3kms before getting ready for work, that's your que!
Coyote's do not live in that part of the world. however the forest North of Tel-Aviv have quite a lot of Jackals, which are common in the region

We had them in our pool every year too. We actually waited til they were gone to open our pool for the season. We stared in wonderment one year, when the female was joined by two males, not just her usual hubby.

Deer Wandering Around People's Houses In Toronto
Fair enough, but we have about 3/4 the population of all of Sweden (about 7 million people) crammed into an area the size of Gotland. While deer regularly pop up in the ravines and trails that work their way through the city, us Torontonians are not used to seeing them out our front windows.
Load More Replies...I love how they're ignoring the dog. Probably know he can't chase them.
A Boar In The Streets Of Barcelona, Spain
That boar was ready to charge your butt. Been close enough to wild ones long enough to know.
It is usual to see boars in the city areas surrounding the Collserola park!
Load More Replies...In Spain? Oh no, poor piggy, those monsters like to torture and kill animals for fun: drag a goat up to a tower and push her down; smear bull's horns with a combustible mixture and set it on fire, and of course so loved Bull"fights" when the bull has wet newspapers shoved in his ears to mute sound, Vaseline is rubbed into his eyes, cotton is stuffed into his nostrils to inhibit his breathing and a needle is inserted into his genitals. A strong corrosive solution is also rubbed on his legs making walking uncomfortable and balancing awkward. This also prevent him from lying on the floor. He is held in a dark box a few days to disorient him before entering the ring. When he's finally let out of the box, he things that his suffering is finally over and that he's free - instead he runs into the bullring to meat his tortuous death and a braying, heartless, bloodthirsty mob. Yes my fellow humans , with exception of few, we are diabolical, vile, sanguinary sub-any creature monsters.
Geese Wandering Along The Las Vegas Strip
Even in Vegas people have kind hearts to give the family their own lane on the road.
Ah the Canadian cobra chickens, they're used to having instilled so much fear in everyone that they know nobody's going to mess with them. They do what they want, where they want!
I had no idea the went to Nevada in winter. I knew they flew south, but I figured they went toward Florida like other Canadian snowbirds (hehehe get it?!) rather than the middle of the desert.
Load More Replies...I like how the traffic is held back/pass cautiously for the geese to wander safely...
Yes, because Las Vegas is known for its many lakes and ponds

A Wild Duck Roaming Outside A School In Edgbaston, Birmingham, UK
What next, a photo of a hedgehog in the suburbs? Don't tell me deer have invaded Richmond Park in London!? Good heavens.

We have seen an influx of raccoons in downtown Austin. They walk down the street like they own the place.
I'd like to see a picture of that, please :) I wish I had racoons were I live...
Load More Replies...Most (if not all) of these sightings happen even without a pandemic. Sorry. I like looking at animal photos and videos, but I also don't delude myself into thinking this is some magical s**t brought about by a human quarantine.
It's not some "magical" s**t, it's that animals are usually afraid of human, our bright lights and loud noises, so they rarely seek the urban places where we live. Sure, rural places have boar, deer or even bear sightings relatively often, but you wouldn't see a boar in a metropolitan area, the poor thing would be scared shitless. Same even for the brainless jellyfish- they've got sensors that keep them away from boats and machines and gondolas to avoid injury. No boats, no reason not to wander off there. Of course there's wild animals that have learned to live with/off humans, like foxes, raccoons and monkeys, and in fact I'm alittle worried about their wellbeing since they usually eat our trash or things that fall off our food. In short, it's not unheard of to see wild animals in "human-land", but it's also more common now with the quarantine that keeps us at home, away from cars, with closed bars and holiday resorts and so on.

It's strange to think people live in places that they don't see deer often. In the Pacific NW USA, we see deer in our yards daily and always have. :)
I live in a suburban part of New Jersey. It's not normal to see a deer wander down our street--which happened once while I was at work. I really wanted to see it. On the other hand, it's totally normal for my boyfriend who lives in a different part of New Jersey to get deer on a regular basis.
