Recently I’ve been designing and sewing animals from unwanted/damaged faux fur clothing that might otherwise be destined for landfill. I enjoy combining my passion for nature and crafting to create these soft sculptures. On some pieces, I add finishing touches using fabric paints, and/or pens. But I love it when the pattern on the clothing already pretty much matches whatever animal it is I’m trying to make!I tend to stuff any leftover over fabric into the bodies, and sometimes it’s possible to make two totally different animal sculptures from just one coat!
