This Award-Winning Photographer Is Taking The Internet By Storm With His Surreal Photo Manipulations
Robert Jahns is an award-winning digital artist, professional photographer, and art director whose work has been in the spotlight for a while. He is best known for his surreal digital photo manipulations that gathered him over a million followers on Instagram.
Robert says he has been creating since he was 6 years old and got into photography art and photo editing 16 years ago. "Creating art always was and is my passion. With my unique art, I’m able to show the world the visuals I have in mind. I can inspire so many people worldwide in a positive way," he told Bored Panda.
When asked how he chooses the images to edit, Robert walked us through his whole creative process: "For every concept, I need several different interesting photos which I combine in post-processing to create a new piece that looks as real as possible. I always try lots of images to see which works best and which images work best emotion-wise. I always know what images I need for my works of art but I still try many different images to see what works best." The artist uses Photoshop, Lightroom, and various smartphone apps to produce stunning pictures. Robert says that when it comes to digital art, his biggest inspiration is his own creative mind.
In September, the artist will be releasing his first illustrated storybook called "Traumwelten" in Germany. He also has plans on releasing the book in English later this year.

What an engaging picture! My eyes keep getting drawn to explore the depth of the clouds and their reflection, then returning to the figure in the boat, and back again. But it's also such a peaceful, serene image...I would love to have this picture on any one of my walls - could spend hours in contemplation....
Pics like these is why people wonder if the penguins and polarbears runs freely on our streets in northern Sweden... 😂
Polar bears, sure. But the penguins would have a loooong way to travel to get to Sweden

The city found a whale to serve as its mascot - but was it the right whale?
All the people must not be around anymore because this is so beautiful in Clean water.
Ooh, Fruit Stripe Gum! 5 seconds of artificial flavor, and then it's just old, sad gum.
We can do anything better than them. Yes we can, and be beautiful proving it.
Is that all you see here? Focus on the larger picture. Practice being positive. You may enjoy life more.

First thought was she's going to jump... maybe my own fear of heights no matter how many balloons I'm holding
I find this one incredibly grating. I'm an avid hiker, and no matter how far away from civilization I get, I find two things that just burn me - plastic bags, and deflated balloons. This image of umpteen balloons being deliberately released in such a beautiful, pristine place just infuriates me.
My husband is an offshore fisherman and says he sees balloons more then anything in the water

Word got out what a pretty place that was and now the family has arrived.
ITS BEAUTIFUL ...... I AM RAHUL FROM AGRA..... (AGRA CITY WORLD FAMOUS IN TAJ MAHAL.....
Great photo/picture... truly amazing... and I think: what a horrible place...
I do love this kind of pics and still I think it is sad what people did with Earth...
Can't handle the balloon pics...releasing balloons because it's your "special occasion" is just selfish.
Load More Replies...:) Amazing! I wish I could make such a pic where the lit city and the milky way is shown... while we had hard times to make pics in the observatory because city lights disturbed...
I think I would like this more if there was less going on
There were 10 or 12 of these that I actually liked. The rest were too forced or repetitive. Worst of all were the ones with people in high places. My acrophobic self cringed.
Beautiful pictures. I enjoyed watching them until the moment where I thought: "Another photo of lanterns in the water, another picture of balloons, another picture of a house in a lake." So repetition killed it for me.
Agreed. They got a bit repetitive. The ones on page one are spectacular though, and the non-cliche ones throughout are great.
