Under-Cats: I Photograph Cats From Underneath
236Kviews
As a person who loves both cats and photography I couldn’t miss an opportunity to express myself during the international Cat show which recently took place in Vilnius, Lithuania. The idea about taking photos from underneath came from the similar photo which I randomly found on the internet.
I was fascinated by their cute little paws which were impossible to resist to look at. But the main idea which I wanted to express through these photos, is that cats feel embarrassed about this part of a body which people don’t get to see daily.
Anyway 7 hours of preparation, 1 day of photo shooting, 4 weeks for finishing and finally got the result. Enjoy!

I have a polydactyl cat (Hemingway cat) with double pads and lots of extra toes. I'd love to see a series like this on some of his fellow felines.
KAWAII!!
Good thing there were mainly no boy cats…
Hah
Andriau, ačiū :)
TOE BEANS!!! <3
Stunning!
Cute kitties :) I love cats
I loved these pics.
couldn't you have gotten them in cuter poses? A lot of them look like they want to get the hell outta there.
I think they're great. I mean if you tried to make a cat hold still and look cute, especially on glass, if you know cats…
i am proud of u

Are these all from the cat show? Why aren't any of them neutered?
Why should they all be neutered? How will the breed then?! Jeez, there always be that one person asking "why aren't they neutered?"!!
Because they are starting to overpopulate.that's why so many cats are being euthanized, more cats but not enough people who want to adopt.
Simple: for every man, woman and child in North America, there are at least 45 cats. Are you ready to adopt that many? How about adopting at least a hundred, to make up for the folks who don't adopt, or those who dump their unwanted felines in the middle of winter on a rural road?
because we have enough cats in this world, that's why. also: cats can get really sick if not neutered.
I can ask the same question, why aren't you neutered? LOL just JK
I love these!!!
sweet, sweet, sweeeeeeeeeet
Too bad some of the cats are clearly scared (tails underneath their body) and the postures of some others look really insecure. Next time reading your subject's body language may help. Otherwise the outcome is pitiful.
I totally agree, here I see more scared and insecured cats than calm and placid cats :/ Good idea but wrong set up I suppose.
Grrrrrr…

I agree, your pointless comment is quite boring.
