Man With Immense Fear Of Cats Gets Forced To Experience The Cuteness Of Kittens
Everybody is afraid of something, but some of us have the strangest fears. Such as cats. Yes, there are people who suffer from ailurophobia and are absolutely terrified of these cuddly bundles of fur. While most people love or at least tolerate cats, it’s hard to imagine someone who can’t even stand the sight of a cat. And if you cat lovers out there don’t believe it’s possible, you should meet Sal Vulcano.
If you make a face like this when you’re near cats, you probably have ailurophobia too
Well, The Impractical Joker Sal definitely has one, otherwise, his colleagues wouldn’t have so much fun throwing cats at him
To punish him for throwing tarantulas at his colleague, the rest of Impractical Jokers decided to chain Sal up and surround him with cats
While we do feel sorry for Sal that he had to endure it, the video is definitely hilarious to watch

Share on FacebookOh come on commenters -yes phobias and panic attacks are very real and dangerous and no-one should be forced to face them unwillingly but these guys AGREED to do it. There's also clearly lots of staff on hand to help out if anything had gone wrong for either the people or the animals. It's a giggle and they clearly had a lot of fun doing it ^_^ I'm not certain I'd be convinced to face my insect fears this way but it's actually a very good and safe environment in which to face a phobia.
Only animal phobia is Earwigs. According to a boook I read age 10 they can get in your ear, eat their way right through your brain and come out the other ear.. As long as something is too big to sneak into body orifices and set up home I am OK with it. apart from wasps
Load More Replies...*Sigh* has nobody seen IJ? 1st of all Sal has many fears, but it's no a full on phobia as far as i'm aware, i've never missed an ep and seen them live several times... 2nd they didn't "throw" tarantulas at Q, they gently placed them on him and they were handled by professionals. Impractical Jokers are 100% respectful towards anyone or any creature they come into contact with. If you thought that placing cats or taratulas on them is bad, they made Murr jump out of a plane... one of his biggest fears (The other one is swimming with sharks and they made him do that too!) They go into the punishments knowing that its going to hurt/scare the c**p out of them. That's the whole premise of the show and what makes it avid viewing. Go watch and enjoy but rest assured after getting to know them it's addictive as heck!! :) xxx
Thank you for clearing this up. Was getting annoyed when I read they were throwing tarantulas.
Load More Replies...I dunno. Making him do that in a black shirt and black shorts is pretty cruel. If it were me, the cruelest part would be not being able to pet all those adorable little fuzzballs!!
It's sad actually... being afraid of one the cuttest animals in the world. Worst condition ever for a cat lover!
While it COULD be funny, overall I agree that that's pretty dangerous. I would probably have a panic attack if I was chained down and forced to face my phobia.
Oh, hell no! It's Scorpions for me. I would pass out before the first one even got near me. Can't even see photos of them! Scorpions are probably a more understandable phobia to most people, being loathsome creatures from hell: for him - it's fuzzy kitties from hell. That poor guy must have been terrified!
Load More Replies...I used to have a very real phobia of spiders, I have since reduced it to a fear and can handle them as long as I don't find them on my body... if they are found on me all bets are off.
His idea of Hell is my idea of Heaven. If you threw wads of soaking wet tissue at me however, I'd scream and run.
I may be a bad person for this, but that was the best laugh I've had in ages! As I watched the video, my own two fur kids, Ollie and Luna, were running around, jumping on each other and having shenanigans.
Do trust anyone who doesn't like cats, or dogs, or horses, or bunnies, or animals, except babies, human babies.
I feel really bad for him. I have a phobia too and its irrational but it's still terrifying. The ending was funny though.
TBH it was probably for the safety of the critters and themselves. a person who is truly afraid can lash out and injure themselves or the critter.
Load More Replies...I´m afraid of cats too!! Please don´t take me there!! I said PLEASE DON´T TAKE ME THERE!!!! xD
If I was chained up and immobile with my greatest fear - wasps. It would be my biggest nightmare.
Yes but there is a difference between docile cats and the spawn of Satan stinger bois

Load More Replies...Hiya Diane, No they' didn't throw them rest assured! They had professional handlers and he wasn't able to move. Once they had taken them off gently they turned the lights off and dropped a giant stuffed spider on him. Was hilarious! Whilst Q is terrified of spiders he is an animal lover and wouldn't harm a fly :) it's worth a watch you can get it on youtube, just type in Q spider punishment xx
