In Croatia and Italy it's a completely normal thing. And it's less frequent, but they do it in Korea too.

A few people do it in France, but I think it comes from seeing American tv shows, people definitely do it in Canada and New Zealand (and I do it in all those places, I love it!)

We do it in the UK. From primary school where you have milk time and get to just sit in class with cookies and milk for like an hour haha x

Growing up in Switzerland, kids would sometimes do this combination of cookies and milk for breakfast but i never saw anyone else other than little kids do it, i currently reside in Africa and i've never seen anyone- kid or adult, do this...I guess it's one of those things that are more common in the US, like bacon and eggs or pancakes and syrup.

I'm from the US, and it never occurred that cookies and milk don't go together everywhere. It is nice to learn something new. Personally I only like Oreo cookies or chocolate chip cookies with milk. Shortbread and ginger snaps go with tea.

I am from The Netherlands and this combination sounds weird to me too. We drink a sh*tload of milk but we eat our cookies with coffee.
