You may remember a post we did last year about Celeste Barber, an Australian comedienne who hilariously recreates celebrity Instagram photos. Well, now she's back, and her latest batch of parody poses are even funnier than the first.
And if you have some doubts about your understanding of what parody is, here's a simple explanation - it's purpose is to comment or criticize the parodied subject itself, doing it in a funny and light-hearted way. Not to be confused with its grim sister satire - a technique used by writers to expose the foolishness and corruption of a person or society. Celeste Barber delivers some of the best examples of parody - gently mocking the today's stars in a flawless, yet spot-on manner.
As you can see from these pictures, no celebrity is safe from Sydney-based Barber's brilliant reenactments. Whether she's trying to look as smooth as Beyoncé, as flexible as Victoria Beckham, as tired as Kim Kardashian, as romantic as Jessica Simpson, as sexy as Ruby Rose or as, er, curious as Nicki Minaj, the comedienne infuses each of her pictures with a dose of reality that we can all relate to. Unsurprisingly her hilarious photographs have earned her an Instagram following of over 500,000. How many of those follows are celebrities, however, nobody knows...

How do some people not know how bad it is to go to sleep with make-up on? Instant acne. The one and only time I did that it took forever for my skin to clear up and I thought I'd have permanent scarring on my cheek. Wash your make-up off thoroughly before bed!!!
