This is actually a product of a couple ensh!ttifications of late: 1) movies are filmed in a rush, with constant micromanaging changes and without as much budget, on location. This means loud interference with the microphones on set is common. 2) this is never fixed because when the techs responsible for sound mention it, directors and producers insist 'it can be fixed in post' because they don't really understand that computers can't fix everything magically. Hence, the sound is muddy because they had to try their best to get that loud truck that was ten yards away out of the recording, and couldn't 'sharpen' the dialogue sound enough.

It's probably their system that is badly set, louder does not mean better. In a good, certified Dolby Atmos theatre like Kinepolis it should be good. And loud at times but with audible dialogues and not too loud.

The sound is designed for home theatres/surround sound systems so it fluctuates on a standard tv or sound bar.

Movies have a certain dynamic range. It works well in theaters and for people who have good sound systems at home. For people who use built in speakers, it's not going to work well. They aren't going to make things crappy for people with good systems to appease those without them. And with flat screen TVs, having good speakers is impossible. There's no place for them. So either you spend thousands of dollars on a good sound system or you don't get good sound.

Electric cars are a band aid. And a band aid that comes with some negatives. Reducing the use of personal powered vehicles is a more impaction solution.

The impact meat and generally farming has on climate, to whatabout a little more, is generally underdiscussed and often not even mentioned, although being the easiest and most sustainable option to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

When it's hot I cross my ankle over his and he puts one hand on my thigh, and when it's super hot I usually just touch his leg with mine enough to feel each other's presence but not so much to overheat.
