Content creator Kristina Zias is a size XL/XXL, and she's on a mission to find clothes that are the right fit for her. To help other women navigate the complex maze of apparel sizing, Kristina also shows off how she looks in the pieces she buys. This often comes in the form of comparing the outfit with her friends who have different body types.
Together, they shop at Zara, Aritzia, and other popular places, and the contrast of the finished look, even though they're supposed to give off the same vibe, often shows that the same clothing can appear differently on various body types.
Every now and then, Kristina receives a mean comment, but she doesn't let the nasty words get to her. "The only way you can become more confident is by embracing your insecurities," Kristina says in one of her TikToks. "For me, I've always been so insecure about my stomach. And then I realized, 'Guess what? I can show up in a low-rise bikini, let my belly hang out, show my stretch marks, and the world is not going to end.’ And if anyone has a problem with my stomach, well f**k them. That says a lot more about them than me."
Most of the reactions to her videos, however, are positive, with many thanking Kristina for representing them and speaking up about the struggles of clothes shopping.

this has nothing to do with “who looks better”, it has to do with breaking stereotypes and sharing struggles that many women face with clothes. idk why you’re putting them against eachother.
Load More Replies...I am amazed at how good the XL sized clothes look, but then model is a beautiful woman.
idk I find slightly over sized clothes appealing but they both look good
Load More Replies...I am closer to the XL myself but I have to say that I prefer the way the fabric of the pants flows down the XS woman's body. I just find it more pleasing to the eye.
Exactly my thoughts on the pants. It makes a big difference
Load More Replies...I hate the pants on the XL girl. The waist isn't long enough, adds a weird V by her crotch. Change the pants and this is a great style for any size
Yea, I think she’s just rlly tall as well, and yea the pants just aren’t long enough
Load More Replies...Actually I find the length of the xl pair of jeans awkward on this model. Either shorter or longer would be fine.
Both look good but XL looks better. Almost all these the XL looks great bc she's wearing spandex underneath!!!!
No she isn't. Have you actually looked at these pictures? In most of them (check the photo where she can't zip the pants up), she looks like she has nothing on underneath. BBWs don't have to crush the life out of themselves with spandex to look great.
Load More Replies...Will all the comments stfu please? It the THEIR CHOICE ON WHAT TO WEAR.
THIS! Their posts are likely made just for buyers who are wondering if it'll actually look as advertised if in a different size. They can wear what they want!
Load More Replies...Both models look like actual people wearing this design. We need to celebrate the imperfections that are people. Love both models.
The dress isn’t the best, but it’s their choice, and they still both look beautiful
Ugly a*s dress the models are pretty but why is the dress so damn wrinkled? It looks like it was was two feet longer and they bunched it up
Seriously, women's clothing companies need to get it together with their sizing. I have multiple pairs of size 4 jeans and some of them are too small, others fit just right (my weight fluctuates very easily, that's why I still have all those jeans). WTF??
I wish they would just use real measurements. I like men's clothing because most of it has actual measurements.
Load More Replies...in my closet right now, i have sizes that start at XS and go up to XL, and they all fit perfectly! wtf?!
Same! I literally can’t remember what my pants size is anymore because my closet is full of size 4, 6, 8, and 10 😵💫
Load More Replies...I disagree. I think XS looks better. The bunching doesn't flatter XL at all.
Load More Replies...They're showing how ridiculously small the pockets are.
Load More Replies...No one looks good in that pattern at any size. It's like a science fiction monster that has swallowed a bunch of people and you still see body part sticking out of it.
I kinda feel like this about most of the outfits on this list tbh
Load More Replies...Terrible dress. Period. Reminds me of old lady curtains or bedspreads
Welcome to No Bitches, the show where we tell you why you get no bitches.
Load More Replies...Don't be like Ross and use baby powder and lotion to get them off if they get stuck. It will turn into a paste
Why are the crop tops always shorter on the plus size?? If they accommodated width and height shouldn't the top proportions be the same?
I can't with the raw hem. No. Otherwise it's fine but the point of paying for clothes is that someone actually completed sewing them.
A different color like black. This outfit looks like an Easter egg lol. But I like the style
Likely due to the angle to be honest. Awkward positioning of them. That or they were edited.
Load More Replies...Idk why people hate this color.. personally i like it.. i don’t wear it often but still.
It's the first where in my opinion she looks XL. (Coming from a tall XXL girl)
That looks like the same dress, not 2 different sizes. I used to own a similar one size fits all dress. It looked just as bad on either body type....
In a different color this would be gorgeous!!! XL wins again. Anyone need a Cotton candy outfit for Halloween lol
Nah, I think she just tied her hair back
Load More Replies...XL for me, because I think that the dress for XS is just at an awkward length, but it’s still cute!
It's part of a tik tok video where they'll show this outfit styled in 3 different ways. This pic only shows one of them.
Load More Replies...Sits weird on xl. Like maybe they didn't give enough fabric. I like it otherwise. Very tropical vibe
It's because she's standing weird. If she was standing straight the clothes would sit better.
Load More Replies...I agree. Like a weird reject from the early 90s
Load More Replies...It may be only because the XS isn't facing the camera, but I LOVE the cut of the hem on XL!
Maybe if it didn’t have all the sequins, or if they were just smaller?
Load More Replies...This outfit does not seem to compliment either of these beautiful women. So far they have looked amazing in everything.
Most of the clothes are not flattering. Maybe just not my style. Beautiful women
That top looks hungover. Why does it have barn hay poking out from the top?
My cats would never leave me alone with all those dangly feathers 😂 it’s a no from me too
Load More Replies...I like this apart from whatever is hanging out of the top of the shirt
please please please fashion-producers, invest a little on the length....
I don’t know where they live that determines the sizing. In Canada there is no way she’s an XL or size 14-16. More like XXL at the least and 18-20 more realistic. Nothing wrong with that. Just be honest about the size. My only complaint is that here, you can’t find stylish clothes in those sizes. Just because were plus size doesn’t mean we should be punished with crappy styles.
And the length! it's not just the horizontal size that has to increase, crop tops and short skirts are one thing, half showing underboob or a*s is another
Load More Replies...Why is every comment about whether or not they look good??? The entire point of the post is to illustrate how every body is beautiful and confident in everything... instead we just have like everyone dissing them in the comments saying they look trashy?? You guys have completely missed the point of this
I don't think that this is necessarily about how every body is beautiful is. Sure they are! But imp it's more about how different outfits look on different body types. Just because you provide some clothes in bigger sizes they don't have to look good. But also not every xl sized person has necessarily the same body shape. Same goes with xs or whatever sizes. Seeing this makes me being aware of there are certain styles I could wear but never have thought of. ETA: I would be livid if my friends would say something looks great on me just to be polite when in reality it's unflattering as hell.
Load More Replies...I don't get the idea behind these type of posts? Why is it important to fit into the same outfit at different sizes/shapes? Most body shapes tend to look/feel their best in outfits that match their shape and personality of the one wearing it. No, I don't mean as in "flattering" or "more coverage" (or similar anti-fat) - just something that flows with your body and personality. I see no harm in being different and see that as something to celebrate- not feeling the need to fit in everything (size or style). But I mean, if they like it it's fine I guess.
The problem is that the model with a larger size is proportionate because she's tall. I'm her same size and much shorter. It doesn't work as well
Me too. I could never wear these stomach-skimming tops like she can. I need to wear tents.
Load More Replies...Lol idk I’m thinking the same thing tbh 😂
Load More Replies...I'm a guy and not into styles and the whole size thing drives me nuts. I can't imagine what it's like for women. I would be happy if they would create a bureau of standard for clothing so get exactly what you order. And what is up with clothing companies not making clothes tailored to large women? There are more and more large people so it would make sense to cater to them just from a profit standpoint!
As a woman who has to buy xl tops and dresses, my biggest issue has always been that they don't account for breasts when sizing up. Crop tops fit like sports bras, button ups, don't button up top, and dresses either hang like a sack or give me quadroboob. I'm usually left wearing tee shirts, because everything else fits so poorly. Just making it exactly the same, but wider doesn't work on real people. It needs to be longer at the waist.
