So please stop the negative comments and focus on the stories behind this beautiful women. This woman is battling stage 4 CANCER say something positive!!!
Sadly people have a REALLY hard time saying anything positive ESPECIALLY on social media they feel untouchable hiding behind their screens and don't stop to think about anyone else's feelings. Personally I think these ladies looked great before and the makeup (as makeup was made to do) just accentuates all those positive beautiful features. F**k all the s****y comments those are just (as my mom would say) little people with little ways

She looks so lovely. I would bet that this woman felt better just being made up. Cancer is everything it's cracked up to be.
Stage 4 Cancer! poor woman! I hope she is surrounded by loved ones! Stay strong! <3
That first picture is just a really bad photo. She obviously has good facial structure. Beautiful nose actually. Stay strong Jekaterina.

Let's just assume you mean well... However, how can you seriously think you know what goes on inside these women..?!? Calling a woman who was severely disfigured after (e.g.) a horrible accident, beautiful and tell her to go love herself the way she is, is so heartless and thoughtless...I don't even have words for that...

Load More Replies...Men with skin "problems" are accepted; let's learn to also accept women for their natural beauty and not make them feel they must cake on makeup and wear a mask! These women look like drag queens (which is FINE if that's what they like and want!) and would cost a lot of time and money to maintain every day.
It goes both ways though. I'm sure there are a lot of men who wish they could cover their scars and acne, but can't because society doesn't accept men wearing makeup.
Load More Replies...Every lady should have a "glamour Makeup and photo shoot" done at least once in her life. Remember in the 90's when we went to those shops (in the US) and had Glamour Shots? I did it and they made me look like Elisabeth Taylor (in her young yrs) *L* I still have them and they make me smile every time I see them. I was soooo Hollywood! Even if just for a day it was great! Now I have lasting memories of it like these ladies do. Nothing wrong with that!
As a portrait artist.... I will always prefer natural but i like what’s been done here.
they do look amazing but I kinda think that those enlarged lips do show when you look up close
I think Goar is a very special, loving human being who I am certain has brought joy to these women who have been through so much.
Unlike the majority of makeup transformation stories, this is a rare instance of the artist truly bringing out the inner beauty of her clients. Their essence shines through with both before and after pics - so often the after pics are unrecognizable, but this artist's talent lies in coaxing out the goddess within each of these women. What a gift!
A woman does not wear make-up to please those around her she wears it to please herself. Self acceptance is key. O only wear make-up when I'm going somewhere special.. most other days a bit of lipstick is all.. my face is far from perfect , I suffer acne now after having my last child and it bad , and I'm scarred but I choose to show that I am confident either way
I don't support these. They make people believe that they have to wear makeup to look beautiful, which isn't true. When they wear the makeup, it's like they are trying to hide who they are and as a result look like they have had plastic surgery.
While I understand the idea behind the self confidence boost, most of these transformations aren't natural looking. Makeup is so heavy they look like plastic Barbie dolls. I have to wonder how the acne sufferers skin held up to being smothered, and hope those ladies don't make a habit of this heavy application, or they'll find themselves covering scars too. Self esteem shouldn't come from a bottle but from the people who love us and from our accomplishments, even though society tells us differently.

The only ugly thing about all of this that deserves a good make-up is the mentality of the human race.
Can't we just apreciate that these women have suffered through many things, and it was THEIR choice to get a makeover! And they look fabulous! The main thing is, that they are CONFIDENT in these photos. They LIKE how they look in the after. And can't we just apreciate what they think?

No doubt she's a great make-up artist, but in some of these pictures the eye colours appear so different that it looks like the photographic lighting and Photoshop are also playing a significant part in the transformation.

I like what she's done because i think everyone should feel special and all pretty one day in their life because maybe then they will realise it basically just a cover on their face and its how they act that changes their life. dang i just realised it pretty cheesy
I think what I want to take away is that caring for yourself is very much for yourself. It's about how you feel, what you want for yourself, and knowing that only you set your own limitations.
I think some of these are actually the real before and after, but some of them also makes me question a bit... Like the eye color change, which I guess they can wear color contacts, OK, also, the big moles that u can't hide much and somehow its gone in the after pic, also, alot of the facial features are totally different. So, explain to me how a talented makeup artist can do that?
The make up is beautiful and, of course, you have to love the confident boost these women get out of it. However, what is left when the make up is gone? Do they feel worthless again? Should they wear make up 24/7? How do you deal with that? Why hasn't someone invented, yet, a confident boost without all these artificial means? Beauty is, and always be, in the eye of the beholder. The first beholder should be yourself. But we all need someone to teach us.
I quite like it honestly i think its nice to get a make over once in a while get all dolled up but of course you'll never need more than yourself to know you're beautiful i wish all the guys would stop hating though
Amazing skills! And for those women, they all are actually beautiful, with or without make up. I wish them good life...
It is amazing how in every photo after the transformation the eyes of every subject lighted up and the corners of everyone's mouths turned up. Confidence restored.
It's fantastic that someone (beauty guru Goar Avetisyan) who has developed the skills & knowledge to share as a act of humanity & kindness, to make their day, & that the photo taken of these women after their transformation they can keep to show their cruel reactionary immature reactionary critics that they are wrong. Those in society who have been conditioned & brain washed by fashion shows, beauty magazines, beauty contests, etc, to believe that only beautiful women can wear beautiful clothes, & be appreciated for who they are, we can only pity. They will never be able to enjoy the company of women who do not fit the description for membership of their exclusive Club or group, for only beautiful women. True beauty is the person inside, & not really the person you see on the outside. Women are beautiful, no matter what we do. You can look awesome, or you can look every day. Beauty comes from inside.
We live in a world where saying a basic and obvious truth like this gets bullied. Aubrie, we gotta give 'em a few years before fundamental logic and the magic of life becomes 'cool' enough to talk about on internet forums, hahaha.

Some are actually kinda cool) trying to underline the natural beauty and unique traits they have that make them themselves she's putting soooooo much makeup on them it must literally be making their skin feel hot just on its own lol, and painting a new face in the same style on all of them. For people with awful scars that want to look...normal for a day that makes sense, but for someone with fairly normal and pretty face? I dunno. Perhaps if you want to look different for an evening for a change. I think the true power of make up is/can be in showing people what's beautiful in them and how unique and special they are - with or without makeup. For me make up actually let me see the pretty in my own face and I appreciate that:)
Proof that everyone can look beautiful with just a little self care. Don't be discouraged or afraid to take care of yourself. Even if something unfortunate happened to you, even if everyone else told you you're ugly, please, know that you are beautiful. Your beauty is juat hidden behind your shell of anxiety, so don't be afraid to shine.
This is way more than a little, though. Tons of make-up, in some cases wigs and contacts. I think it would send a better message, like yours, if she just evened out their skin and added a little color to their cheeks and a little volume to their lashes and brows, or something lighter like that. It's a lot more "your features are already beautiful, just need a little highlighting" and less "gotta change yourself completely".

Hey Kate. We shouldn't do anything just because it is your personal belief. People who think are better are the worst, and you are one of them. It is our choice as women to wear makeup, to allow ourselves to be weak if you please, and this is our greatest strength. These women chose for themselves, and they are brave and beautiful to expose their insecurities to the world. Who are you to put them below you claiming that they are wrong? And your tone - so aggressive, so rude. Haven't anyone taught you to be kind and polite if you already scream from a position of authority? Who gave you that right? Remember honey, telling people what should and shouldn't do, especially with their bodies, is not helping anyone. Choose something right to fight for, manage that rage of yours, go to counselling, do yoga, smile and always try to be kind, especially to strangers. I hope you will feel better and I wish you the best.
