Every year around December, my humans bring me a giant green cat toy with colourful lights, pretty decorations, and a big star on top. The cats make a game out of "how many ornaments can you knock down without being seen". The star on top is worth 1000 points.

I think you NEED to train your cat NOT to jump up on the stove OR any countertops. And just for a FYI for all you cat lovers out there...... I think I can speak on behalf of MANY of us dog owners and not cat owners that there are quite a few of us who are COMPLETELY grossed out in homes where cats are allowed to jump up on the kitchen table, the kitchen counters and especially the kitchen stove or ANY place where food is prepared or eaten. It also sounds for the cat's own safety she NEEDS to be taught the stove a out of bounds. Just remember.....how would you like it if you came into our homes and saw the dog licking the plates we were going to be using to serve dinner to everyone? It's NO different with the cats up on the food surfaces. Thanks!

Incredible, isn't it? I heard it happens a lot more often than we could immagine, though. Cold weather and a curious attitude brings kittens and puppies into people's cars through holes from below the car. Sometimes these drivers get new pets this way, but sadly not all stories have happy endings. If you don't notice the animal (or notice it too late) inside your hot engines.....
