when have you done a very hard thing and it paid off

I'll go first. In my first school that I went to, I was severely bullied, and always got punished for getting in fights. So one day, I decide to take MMA classes, and got bored, got made fun of, almost died of a punctured lung due to a broken rib from a previous fight that the school was saying that I started. (mind you, I was a 4'3 98 lbs. 4th grader at the time), and I didn't even know what the school was doing was illegal, allowing abuse, neglecting a child. And that was a couple years ago. I am now a healthy high school student at a different school, and have gone through therapy, got PTSD pills, and I got my life together. Once I have the money, I'm gonna sue the old school for abuse and neglect.
