What's the best short horror story you can make up?

I was on my bed half asleep. It was weird though because it didn't have that familiar lump underneath the right side of my back. The room had a slight spell of fish which was weird. I haven't eaten fish ever since I was six and was sick eating fish. Even if it was nothing to do with the actual food. I opened my eyes curious to what was going on and the room was dark. It took me a minute but when my eyes adjusted to the dark it looked nothing like my bedroom. The walls were grey and I was on a matress instead of a bed which, surprisingly was more comfortable than my lumpy bed at home. After a few minutes of looking around I heard foot steps and saw a person standing in the doorway. I blinked because of the sudden light. They were masked and had a bottle in their hand. Next thing I knew I woke up chained to the wall with the person standing there watching me.
Is this good? It was my first ever attempt at a horror story and I haven't read one before. I would like 100% honest feedback if you have any.
