Some day you will be that old guy who can’t pick up his keys from the floor. Or the one who accidentally drops his fake teeth in the toilet. Face it, you’re not getting any younger. It’s a sickening pill of reality we just have to swallow. And what can help us down it better than laughter? College Humor’s Willie Muse and Jacob Andrews have created 5 painfully relatable comics that cut to the core of getting older and brilliantly poke fun at it.
The artists have illustrated how a person might differently view pop culture, food, drinking, and other big parts of his life as they days go by. However, if the funny strip wasn’t enough and you still need more medicine that can ease your transition into your older you, check out these hilariously honest tweets that tackle the same subject.
the last one i relate to. My brother and my aunt wish me happy brithday every year but unlike other people they say congratulations on being one year closer to death
It's not really accurate though. Death is not a fixed point in time like birth, so you don't actually get closer to it. You get farther away from birth because it's an exact moment. You can actually make death appear to get closer or farther away depending on lifestyle, careers, hobbies, etc.
@Danielw: You can only pinpoint death after it has occurred. When you are living your life...you have no idea when you're going to die. I guess you look at it as getting closer...but like I said, many days, your point of death is actually getting farther away.
Ben Smith technically even though you cant pinpoint death it still gets closer because no matter when your gonna die its getting closer unless your immortal
I totally agree with DanielW's literal take on it.
Deep. I agree
pretty sure that you can pinpoint a person's death down about as accurately as you can their birth.... it's fairly fixed, and just as irreversible. The only difference between the two is hindsight: you know when you were borne. You don't necessarily know when your gonna die.
Why?
Death. Yep. I see it lurking... :x :D
pop culture food and death are accurate.
