Don’t tell me it’s not fun to get your soda served in a soup container or a hazelnut latte served in a… can of Nutella? Okay, just kidding. This sounds like sheer torture, and who even does this? I mean, big round of applause for business owners who take their creativity to a whole new level, but there should be boundaries of common sense and functionality.
Well, if you've ever had your drink served in a ludicrous container and dreamed of having a good old cup instead, this online community is for you. The “We Want Cups” subreddit is a safe place to share our frustration by showcasing drinks that should have (but unfortunately, haven’t) been served in cups.
And oh boy, the whole collection is some painfully funny entertainment that will make you reevaluate your boring ceramic morning cuppa with a stupid scribble on it, because as you see, it always can get much worse.

Recently, a survey from Statista found what beverages people in the US consume the most, and on which ones they give a hard pass. The most commonly consumed beverage is bottled water, which makes up 24.8%. Turn out, the average American consumer drank roughly 40 gallons of bottled water in 2018 alone, so you can imagine the number soared during the pandemic when everyone stayed at home.
The second most consumed beverage is carbonated soda drinks, which make up 21.9% of the consumed beverages. The third most popular drink in America is coffee, with 12.6% consumption share.

All of these "trendy" or whatever these pretentious places are trying to be...just stop. Please, just use a reguler glass that CAN BE CLEANED properly.Some of these...Theres no good way to actually CLEAN them well. And what does the leather bags and bell peppers make the drink taste like? Sweet baby jesus on a bumpy bike...

The ones inside lemon rinds, acovado skin and waffles aren't *too* bad. Assuming the insides of the fruit have been used in normal food preparation and not just hollowed out to make a drink, it's almost acceptable upcycling! But the rest are just ludicrous, surely they can't be effectively cleaned, and in what world is a plastic bag more environmentally friendly than a paper cup?!
