Being Busy Isn’t The Same As Being Productive
Resting is being productive. Reading is being productive. Getting lost on Bored Panda is still being productive. I'm not technically busy busy.. Busy would be too occupied to step away for a moment.

You Don’t Need To “Love Yourself First” To Love Someone Else
Self worth which is self love is needed to have a healthy relationship that is equal give and take. Many people if not all with no self love, no self worth and low self esteem are in toxic disfunctional relationships. Sure you can love them and not care about yourself but it won't make THEM love you back. You have to LOVE you. ❤️ Once you realize and see your worth you'll find people who can love you the way you deserve to be loved. Takes years of healing and realizing it comes from a broken connection from your mother. Parents should of lifted you up not kick you and criticized you. People spend their lives hyper focused on finding that special cosmic connection. It's just you needing to love yourself the way your mother couldn't. After all that connection with our mothers is the greatest there ever is. If we have an emotionally unavailable mother who isn't supporting... well
Fancy Restaurants Are Scams
Depends. The ones where you eat 12 courses and still feel hungry and you’re paying top dollar - that’s an experience for the senses and a place to taste creations by top chefs who have spent years of their passion perfecting their dish to showcase etc. if you’re hungry for portion size go to a Mexican or Italian restaurant or your RSL/ clubs. Both are fun but very different experiences for different reasons.
I’m a vegetarian and was once forced to go to one of these uber fancy restaurants. Granted, it was about 15 years ago, but they had no vegetarian options. I was offered a plate of cold Raw vegetables for €27.. then. I refused and the rude waiter said I was ruining the party. I didn’t eat a lot that night, but I do remember drinking a lot of wine
If a waiter tells a patron they're 'ruining the party' it is not a 'fancy' restaurant: it's a restaurant that pretends to be 'fancy' (I hate the term).
Load More Replies...What do you mean by ' fancy' ? Lovely tables, decorations, amazing food, wine and staff??
No pictures on the menus and drinks in glasses, not paper cups, perhaps?
Load More Replies...A real, good steakhouse can be amazingly better than a merely decent steakhouse, which says a lot because a merely decent steakhouse is still pretty d****d awesome. Also, I've been to a prixe fixe restaurant where they brought sample-sized portions one after the other after the other. Let's say I wouldn't eat there regularly even if I were rich, but it was very fun to eat all sorts of wierd foods that I'd never order as a main dish. (There's no bread in sweet bread.) But are there a ton of scams? Yes.
Some are a scam in that they can be pretentious for no reason (looking at some chain restaurants where everything is bought in and not much cooking actually happens) However the majority aren't and you get what you pay for. I am a fan of a fancy restaurant as they will do food better than I can (& I am a good cook/baker) or use ingredients that I wouldn't be able to source reasonably or at least in small enough quantities.
Having worked in several upmarket kitchens, there are lots of tricks to bump up the bill - from the way the dish is described (E.g. “Bangers & Mash” becomes “Rustic Saucisson on a bed of Pomme Purée” etc.), use of pointless garnishes which add nothing to the flavour of the dish (E.g. micro herbs, edible flowers - all served with tweezers, etc.), an opaque discretionary booking system, excessive theatrical service, prices to ensure only a certain class of people can eat there, etc. Of course sometimes these can be memorable meals but be prepared to have your bank account emptied.pretty rapidly.
Been to one or two and unless you're into parading your pretentiousness its a waste of time and money.

Taylor Swift’s Music All Sounds The Same
Like... I don't even HATE TS's music. It's perfectly acceptable run-of-the-mill pop, some of it even sounds kinda decent. What I hate is the notion that TS deserves the status of the Biggest Popstar Ever and some musical prodigy.

People Who Say “I Hate Drama” Are Usually The Source Of It
I hate drama, and I express that by refusing to get involved when there's a fight or some other controversy going on, even when people are trying to pull me into it so they can get me to back them up. I'll only break that rule if someone involved is in real distress and needs me to stick up for them. I'll do that. But petty office bickering? Forget it. You deal with it.

People Pretend To Like Black Licorice
We're talking real Norwegian black licorice now, not the rubbery American cràp.
I've never clicked on one of these "poll" posts, but I saw the line "matcha tastes like cut grass" and NOOO it does NOT, if done correctly....the only time I *genuinely* did think, for the only time in my life, that matcha tasted like grass....was some "matcha" latte from a charbucks (starbux) along the waterfront in Seattle. I sat up and told my partner it tasted like hot grass. I did not finish it. Matcha is delicious. Matcha is versatile. A couple months ago a dear friend took me to a matcha cafe in our city, and I had a divine matcha lavender lemonade. And before mixed into any drink, the matcha was traditionally prepared. I've been preparing my own matcha tea at home for years. But anyways, The starbux was terrible. It was like hot spinach lawn mower juice.
It does have an earthy taste but it's a pleasant earthy taste. I find sweetening it makes it more pleasant, as with any other tea. I think people who taste matcha for the first time are not tasting a proper matcha drink, or not using anything to sweeten it, so it's too bitter for them. I feel the same way with coffee. I can't understand how anyone enjoys coffee without anything in it to make it less bitter, but I do love coffee sweetened and creamy.

I thought these were supposed to be "unpopular opinions". This is just a list of facts. (Except for the licorice. That's a d**n lie started by the big red licorice industry!)
