Let's be honest, some people are not meant to be designers. I'm not saying that they have no talent at all, more likely a lot of their ideas just "sound better in their heads". However, luckily for us, their creations serve as great amusement.
With that in mind, I asked our fellow pandas to share a picture of the worst design fails they've seen and was happy to receive some funny images! So, scroll down for a good dose of laughter. If you have anything to add, you're more than welcome to do that!

I went to a showbiz pizza for a friend's birthday party when I was little. There were 6 of us at the birthday party that started at his house and his parents took us there for supper. I fell and skinned all the meat off my chin before we left to eat. I barley at one piece of pizza because the grease kept running down my chin into the open wound. My one and only time ever going and I ruined it because I was so damn clumsy.

Ah, gatta love the 70's and 80's parenting of "oh, you fell and seriously skinned your chin? Enjoy the rest of the party, you'll probably be fine" (for me it was breaking my arm roller skating with friends and being taken home by their parents instead of to the hospital)

Ah Billy Bob, the peak of animatronic horror design. How is FNaF supposed to be a horror game but not a single one of the characters is as terrifying as this guy who was made for children and so many other animatronics that are much scarier than Freddy Fazbear, Springtrap, or even Nightmare?

LOL, Showbiz Pizza was a restaurant/gaming place in the 70s-80s. Similar to Chuck-E-Cheese.

ShowBiz was the inspiration for FNAF. Well part of it. What set ShowBiz apart, was the characters could be programmed to replicate any number of voices, so the skits could quickly be changed. Chuck E, however didn't have this ability at the start. They later would copy it. Showbiz was founded in 1980, and lasted until 1992 when ChuckECheeze bought it.

That's Showbiz Pizza! That's where everyone had their birthday parties as a kid. Many of them have effed up nightmares as adults now, but we are mostly ok. Spent a ton of my youth there. Decent arcade.

I totally had my birthday party at Showbiz Pizza when I was little! One of the characters came to my table to wish me a happy birthday and I was so terrified that I hid under the table and wouldn't come out 😂

What do you mean you have no conceivable clue what this is? The clue is right there in the slogan "ShowBiz Pizza" Whatever generation you are in might not know what that is, but even if your generation uses TicTok as a search engine instead of google, it still shows up in the results there. Even without searching, though, the photo is pretty self-evident. It is a pizza place that offers showbiz and game aspects.

Showbiz was Chuck E Cheese. I remember going on a Vacation to Las Vegas and when we got back Show Biz was gone. Replaces by the Mouse. Honestly it has better rides than Chuck E Cheese wever will. Bette atmosphere as well.

i loved that place as a kid, they had a few of these in Texas. There was a large animatronic gorilla that would play piano on stage.

It was a pizza place like Chucky Cheese. There were shows ,games,win tokens and tickets and every hour the characters would come out and wish happy birthday.to everyone.

I think they do go to different rooms. The one on the left goes into the shed. The one on the right might be like a closet. Hence the one on the right has signs for a fire extinguisher

I agree a lot are not bad 'designs'. Might retitle 'fails'. However, I am curious as to which two submissions you consider design fails? My thoughts are #2 floppy flamingo drink spiller, #13 hand dryer badly planned placement, #15 direction signs badly planned and #17 backpack badly designed.

Wish I still had a picture of when we drove past a sign that said "Paradise" that had "closed" slapped across it. And yes, I know it made it into some book, but I did actually see it. Anyway, there are definitely some automobiles that belong on these lists, like old Fiats where you had to remove the dashboard and some other stuff to get to basic fuses, or just the rebuild of the hummer for tech bros to drive around the city.
