Over the last month, Hollywood has been rocked by a series of disturbing sexual assault allegations against film producer Harvey Weinstein, igniting a heated debate on rape culture and the responsibility of celebrities and Hollywood actors to protest it, with it all culminating with the birth of action called ‘Me Too.’ Actor and former football player Terry Crews has bravely come forward to add his voice to the discussion and has shared a troubling and unexpected sexual harassment story on Twitter about his own traumatizing experience with a Hollywood executive.
Crews’ sexual abuse admission comes in response to an exposé published by The New York Times on October 5th. The report revealed widespread Hollywood sex scandal and abusive acts committed by Miramax co-founder Harvey Weinstein toward multiple women, including actress Ashley Judd. Others, such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie, have also claimed unwanted advances from Weinstein.
“Hopefully, me coming forward with my story will deter a predator and encourage someone who feels hopeless,” Crews concluded his emotional thread. Scroll down to find out what he wrote, and how the Internet reacted on this sex scandal ordeal.

Great that he speaks out, abuse doesn't only happen to women and men are often in an even more awkward position. Especially if the abuse comes from a woman, because that always gets a touch of "oh come on, you secretly liked it".
Especially since people can't understand the disconnect between the reaction to physical stimuli and the emotional and physical violation. And since men get fairly easily and very visibly aroused, it's used as an argument against them that surely, if they were aroused, they surely wanted it. The victims often end up half-believing that as well, which is really damaging. But if someone tickles you, even if you really don't want to be tickled... the reaction is out of your control.
Thank you. Your words are kind and true.
I argued that once in an online forum, and a bunch of women jumped in and said I "sounded like one of those MRA guys". (Not sure if that's the right acronum.) They get fall less emotional support (let along other kinds of support) on average if they even dare tell anyone of sexual, physical, or emotional abuse.
Well it's not surprising that this happened in a country where the president (!?) thinks it's ok to "grab women by the pussy". More men and women need to share their stories and the effect it had on them, maybe people will start taking this issue a bit more seriously because clearly it hasn't sunk in yet.
There's still work to do, but the opinion towards sexual harrassment has changed strongly in the last ~10 years. I only say last ten years because this is what I observed. Especially public awareness has shifted significantly.
Sorry I disagree.. the opinion of the new generation is different, but older generations still hold on to the same mentality. I've been sexually harassed myself and the difference of opinion between generations is very clear when i talk about it.

Yeah, don't you dare blame Donald Trump for any of this. Hollywood is almost exclusively Democrat and came out hard for Hillary Clinton. So in fact it's DEMOCRATS who are perpetuating the rape and pedophile culture in Hollywood.
All I can say is well done Terry Crews for sharing he touches on many important points that I have been discussing with people at work like, why did they not come out before and their thinking behind it.
