I started my comic blog Tall N Curly back in 2012 to tell my story. By doing so, I realized I was telling the story of so many other women.
Women who, just like me, want and need to be reminded that it's OK, fun and special to be different and own who they are.

I find it very insulting when someone tells me that my natural kinky hair looks bad.
My hair colour is brown but I dye it. I have been blond, red and black. However it is extremely annoying to here opinions like black firs you more, red fits you more and blond fits you more. Everyone of my friends has different opinion and it is ridiculous even to listen to their b******t!!!
Okay, this is where you can educate the kid in. I know children don't directly have the knowledge of when something is offensive or kind, so it's okay to point out the statement she made is not acceptable as a comment. Be clear and to the point, but remain your respect. You can brush it off with a "Thank you", but it won't get the point across. However, if the kid IS aware of it being mean and they love to do it, then... Yeah... They just suck.

In all fairness, the right girl looks way more interesting and , in my opinion. While "getting it on", you want to make it enjoyable for both partners, right? So things can get rough. And if it doesn't and you still look like the right one, then be like: Eh! So be it! I had fun! Also fitting perfectly in partners' shirt is not something I (and many thousands of others) don't count as a problem. It still looks cute
