Sydney Sweeney Starts Steamy New Business With Jeff Bezos’ Backing

Sydney Sweeney is expanding her empire, and Jeff Bezos had a role to play in it.

During the Amazon founder’s Venetian nuptials with Lauren Sánchez, the internet wondered how the 27-year-old actress snagged an invite to the billionaire’s wedding.

Sources have now revealed that the invitation might have been the result of a new business venture.

The Euphoria star is reportedly “launching a lingerie line very soon,” a source told Us Weekly.

“This has been a huge project for her and something she’s been working on for the last year,” the insider said.

Moreover, Jeff reportedly played a role in bringing the line to fruition.

Sydney’s new lingerie line is being backed by Ben Schwerin, a partner at private equity firm Coatue that recently received a $1 billion boost from Jeff and fellow tycoon Michael Dell through their Coatue Innovation Fund.

While Jeff did not directly provide financial support to Sydney, his money supported the firm that is now reportedly funding her ideas.

Jeff and Lauren’s $50 million nuptials were attended by some of the best-known faces in showbiz.

But online spectators still wondered how Sydney scored a spot on the guest list, which included Oprah Winfrey, Leonardo DiCaprio, Orlando Bloom, Kim Kardashian, Jerry and Jessica Seinfeld, and more.

Megyn Kelly, the sharp-tongued host of The Megyn Kelly Show podcast, made snide comments about Sydney attending the star-studded wedding.

“Sydney Sweeney’s the new toast of the town out there because she’s got these enormous breasts that everybody’s obsessed with,” she said on the podcast. “How does she wind up there?”

Sources told Page Six that Hollywood’s current it-girl attended the wedding because she is starring in the upcoming film Split Fiction, which Jeff’s Amazon MGM Studios acquired the rights to.

Sydney “is not friends with either one of them,” but was invited and, hence, “came to pay respects to the ‘boss,’ just like in the old days of Hollywood,” a source said earlier this month.

Insiders claimed the actress was the “most sought-after person” during the billionaire’s three-day wedding affair.

“Sydney apparently is the most sought-after person to be around at the Bezos wedding,” a source told theDaily Mail.

“Everyone wants to talk to her and every guy that has been in her presence has talked about how stunning she is in real life,” they added.

Footballer Tom Brady appeared to be making a move on Sydney, who was described as the “center of attention” for single men at the party, sources claimed to TMZ.

The single club also included Orlando Bloom, whose split from Katy Perry was officially announced days before the Amazon founder and Emmy-winning journalist tied the knot.

Sydney is entering the lingerie game with some noteworthy experience.

She collaborated in 2023 with the LA-based beachwear brand Frankies Bikinis, founded by Francesca Aiello.

Her ideas led to the creation of the Sydney Sweeney x Frankies Bikinis collection.

At the time, the actress was asked in an interview about why she was interested in making swimwear.

“I grew up on the water, always running around in a bikini. If I wasn’t swimming in the lake or the ocean, I was skiing or attempting to surf,” she told Elle.
