I love making surrealistic photo portraits using props, practical effects, and illusions. Since I didn’t want to resort to photo editing to create my images, I knew that I would have to get physical and build my own photo backdrops.

Since I knew I wouldn’t be able to afford my own studio space until I had my feet on the ground, my parents lent me their garage space to use as my photography art studio. These creative photos were all taken in that small, crowded, too-hot-in-the-summer, too-cold-in-the-winter, Michigan garage!

Ohhh, this really got me for a bit. The chalk lines in the front (and on the sides) aren't chalk, but string or something like it - probably more solid. Maybe one of those 3d printer doodle pens? Anyway, nicely done!
