Artist Creates Surreal Images That Balance Between Reality And Imagination (50 Pics)
Our imagination is what keeps our busy minds entertained, but it’s sometimes so surreal that it can’t be explained with simple words. Here’s where technology comes in handy. Dreamlike worlds and eccentric environments where anything is possible can actually be visualized when masters of digital art work their magic. And whether the resulting photo manipulations are realistic or out of this world, whether it’s meant to entertain or provoke thoughts, we are often mesmerized and would gladly exchange our casual routine to experience the extraordinary.
Originally from Savannakhet in Laos, this Australia-based photography artist creates unique artworks through photography, digital art, photo editing, and painting. Phonsay Phothisomphane's bizarre, yet intriguingly interesting photos that subtly balance contrasts and harmony was inspired by Buddhism, which played a major role throughout his upbringing. Phonsay uses people, angular architecture, geometrical shapes and patterns, and peacefulness of nature to navigate between reality and imagination in his photo ideas.

Makes me uncofortable for some reason... A phobia I didn't know I have maybe? It looks like the hole is really deep. Kudos by the way. It shows that this picture is more than just a picture! :)

The annual stingray migration is a must-see! Towns along the flight path hold festivals every year, giving visitors plenty of opportunity to join the fun. Alternatively, people may hike up into the mountains for a closer look, either on a self-guided day trip, or with a tour group.

The light is coming from the far side of the pond/puddle toward the maple. Note the direction of the large, leafless trees we do see reflected in the water.

There's no way the girl could've got on before the elephant cuz she doesn't reach. So I understand why the girl is mad. First there comes an elephant, then it takes all her balloons, then he sits on the see-saw so she flies in the air and lands hard on the see-saw, and now the elephant is just sitting there with her balloons so she can't come down cuz it's too hign for her
