I would love to have seen this before you used the oil paint effect. I'm fairly certain that the flower is a type of Purple Coneflower, or Echinacea purpurea (at least a relative,) and while hybridization has resulted in some extremely beautiful and brilliant colors, the addition of the very Disney-like raindrops makes the image even less real. Macro photography is a great talent, requiring much patience and practice. I believe that if you continue to perfect it without the use of any effects you'll find that you really don't need them.
