Didn’t think some of the world’s politicians could get any more horrifying? Then check out this line up of scary movie scenes featuring some famous faces to see just how frightful they can become.

The idea to swap out the Hollywood stars of these horror films for political figures came from the creative community over at DesignCrowd.

Dozens of designers made their suggestions for world leaders including Vladimir Putin, Barack Obama, and Angela Merkel as the alternative leads in films such as Nightmare on Elm Street, Alien, and The Exorcist.

The submissions range from scary to surreal, with some looking just a little too convincing for comfort.
