50 Rooms Before And After Makeover
Now, with Youtube videos for guidance, DIY has never been easier and more available to everyone. Of course, there are still certain areas where a professional is definitely needed, but sometimes all it takes is some basic carpentry, a lick of paint and a creative mind to make even the most rundown room look fresh and modern!
Need some inspiration? We here at Bored Panda have compiled a list of our favorite room renovations, and some of them are so amazing you won't they are actually the same space. Scroll down below to check them out for yourself, and vote for your favorite transformations!

Very cozy and beautiful! But impossible to drive like that. Unless you like shattered potted plants on your shoulders and car dashboard...
Living Room
Pocket doors would have been a better choice. At least they'd leave room for art on the walls. Looking at doors all the time isn't great.

Paint everything white, turn a few more lights on,put some throws over stuff and consider it "made over" in the Changing Rooms mids 90's style ;)
Oh yeah, and chuck out the fridge!
A lot of those "upgrades" make the rooms look really cheap and tacky. "White painted furniture"? That's what you do with particle board or MDF furniture.
Remodeling is easier than maintaining it! I'd mess everything within a week.
the main difference btw all these "befores" and "afters" was the lighting.
That and they tidied up and cleaned up. I'd say at least half of these look better in the before than the after photos.
