Sometimes a compliment is just a cigar.

It's different in my case. 1) I recommend something: "This will be torture to you unless you like death metal/black metal/ punk rock. 2) Someone recommends me something: "I will check it out later." (Never checks it out)

I can confirm that this is how I talk to my friends vs. my therapist.

Actually, The Vapors have repeatedly said that it really isn't about that, but the rumor about it is too good for anyone to believe them.

Working out and sweating just makes me want a shower and a nap. I can't imagine trying to be productive after that.

There's a term for this. It's called Seasonal Depression. Everyone in my family, and I'm sure many of you, get it every winter due to lack of vitamin D.
