Our grandparents may be grey and wrinkled, but once they were young, facing many life problems and experiencing its joy just like we are now. To honor their journey in this world and to express love, people are time traveling by recreating their grandparents' vintage photos, and they're nailing it.
Bored Panda has collected some of the best grandchildren attempts to mimic their grandmas and grandpas, and you'll be amazed by the amount of effort they've put into these cool photos. But it was definitely worth it. From visiting the same sights to wearing identical outfits, these people bonded with their ancestors on another level. Let's hope they've seen it! uniform didn't change very much between 1st & 2nd gen..my mum was a Gunn..traced all the way back to a little fishing village in Scotland called Staxico..visited once..
The 1966 uniform looks a lot snazzier than the later counterparts.

We took the pictures that my father-in-law had taken in France and Luxenburg and took the same picture but never thought to do this.

The angle at which the two pictures are taken are different. Grandfather's head is above the building line where the grandson's head is below the building line.
