Dog Finds The Fluffiest Dogs In Daycare So She Can Nap On Them
If you’re brave enough, everything and everyone is a pillow. And Edna is fearless.
This doggo has been attending day care since she was just a little pup, and her routine has pretty much remained the same: Edna runs around, playing for the first couple of hours and exhausts herself so much, she needs to get some sleep to recharge her batteries. So, she starts looking around for a cozy spot to doze off for the remainder of the day. However, since so many dogs are competing for the same thing, finding it can be quite challenging. So Edna adapts. And when she needs a nap, she picks out a fluffy dog at day care and uses them as a pillow!

“All the dogs seem to enjoy the snuggling company,” Brianna Gottfried, one of Edna’s hoomans, told The Dodo. “Even the tiny wiener dogs.”

Naturally, when Edna was still very little, it was way easier for her to nap on other dogs. But even now that she’s gotten bigger, Edna refuses to stop doing it. And the best part is that her day care friends don’t seem to mind at all.

When Brianna comes to the day care to take Edna home, she often finds her asleep on one of her snuggle buddies. “When it’s time to go home, I always have to peel her off of another dog,” Gottfried said.

Obviously, Edna is an absolute joy to play with and and all of her friends enjoy her company so much, they’re willing to help her out just so they could spend more time together. If that is not friendship goals, I don’t know what is.

The doggo would move if they really did! A lot of dogs like cuddling up to each other. My two only lie side by side but don't mind if they are touching each other. However, if my smallest dog puts her head on my boy he flinches in annoyance and will shift away.
Load More Replies...I love Edna, she's adorable. Edna is all about love. She loves everybody, and she wants them all to know that they belong to her. That's how dogs claim ownership of something, or someone. If they sit on you, you're theirs.
Good question but, yes, it is normal and actually a good thing. Everything must be very washable and durable for safety and hygiene. Some dogs will chew any soft bed to pieces in seconds or they'll tug and play-fight with them and the soft fabric will end up in bits. These bits frequently get eaten - one of my dogs eats ANYTHING. All dogs have to be fully vaccinated otherwise they aren't allowed in day care centres but you might still get the odd one who isn't well and in that case things must be able to be scrubbed/disinfected. So it looks uncomfortable but the dogs don't mind. When my dogs are too hot they choose to sleep on cold hard floors. Edna just likes her comfort a lot more than many dogs - she's smart!
Load More Replies...I love that all other dogs are up running and playing but the "pillow" of her is not even moving. This is love and care.
She's obviously cold and sleeping on that floor would make her even colder. Hardly much fur to keep ones self warm is the problem. I would get her a coat.
Sweet pics but where are the naptime beds? A cold hard floor. Really?
A bunch of those doggos look more like they are tolerating this, like a big brother or sister tolerating their younger siblings :)
she is so adorbs! i used to have a lab/chow mix with a fluffy tail and my pug loved to nap on it.
Dogs in daycare is almost as sad as kids in daycare. But the alternative for dogs is being home alone.
Edna is beautiful, looks like the spot on her head is diamond shape, so adorable !!!
No wonder she's looking for a comfortable place to lie, that's a miserable looking place, all those poor doggies lying on that hard floor.
Awww, she´s soooo cute!!!! And her snuggle buddies are sooo cute as well!!!
My heart can't help but melt when I see these pictures. She's just so sweet and innocent!
Yes someone PLEASE get that dog a Newfoundland or Samoyed at home to snuggle with.
The Darker Golden retriever looks like it may be her favorite. This is the cutest thing ever
Well, she doesn't have a lot of hair of her own, so she is pretty smart to find the soft spots.
I want Edna. She is so adorable and I have a big fluffy Lab she could cuddle with. Also have a Boxer for when she wants to play
All pups need to be warm, Edna wanted warmth, and to make friends, love pits, they have a bad rep, they do not deserve, as other breeds that were trained,to be vicious, they are not born that way, we need some pit bull owners on a post, show everyone !!!
That little Daxie's expression, he's like 'I don't know what's going on, but there's a Pit Bull lying on me, so I'm going to keep very still..'
Awwww, she's so cute.....well, until she matures and rips somebody's throat out.....it'll happen.
She does not look unhappy at all. She looks relaxed and is just a very sociable pup.
