Author Annie Dillard famously said, "How we spend our days is, of course, how we spend our lives." So given the fact that the average person spends one-third of their adulthood at work, it's only normal they want to be happy there. Sadly, that's not always the case.

There are plenty of ways companies make their employees' lives miserable: lack of training and two-way communication, excessively strict policies, toxic managers, lousy wages, the list goes on. With their miserable job descriptions and offensive interviews, some organizations even find ways to get under people's skin even before they hire them.

Many of these disappointed folks turn to the internet to voice their frustrations. So in an attempt to recap today's job market and working conditions, we compiled a list of complaints we see online the most.

So what happens to the sucessful companies that they created and will be forced to break up ? What happens to all the jobs? Why would you put someone who cannot handle money( the government) in charge ? Every Western Government has enormous unsustainable debt

Unsustainable? They would default if they were unsustainable. But then there are also countless companies, big companies with unsustainable debts, they don't handle money better

They just shut it down, move the money and restart. If everyone had a million dollars in the bank. A normal car would cost 40 million.

What people fail to realize is that being a billionaire does not mean that they have a billion dollars in the bank. It is the total of their net worth. This includes the businesses that they own.

That is true but it doesn't make the point about billionaires being inherently amoral wrong. The way the Amazons and Alphabets of the world got so valuable is by treating their employees poorly so that they could increase profits. If they treated their employees like people instead of equipment they would not make such large profits and be so valuable. These companies have the ability to redistribute wealth without the government being involved. Sadly they are only interested in hoarding money for themselves.

There would be a queue of countries lining up happy for the billionaires to relocate to their country - the tax revenue it would generate, the jobs and the flow on effect to other businesses in the same region supplying to them. France implemented a super tax a decade or so ago and a number of these wealthy people simply moved their tax residency elsewhere. 75% top tax rate of 0$ is..... $0. 40% of $10 million elsewhere is $4 million to that country. There's always some idiot spouting socialist ideals that can't see the consequences. Excessive tax rates don't work on the people with the means to simply move to another country. Once you start directly taxing income above 50%, they look at other options.

Everybody's a capitalist. If you have ever been to a Communist country, they all try to get more money. Used to go over to East Berlin back in the day. That very nice item is reserved for a Soviet General. Pull a little more money out, now it's reserved for a colonel. A few years before the Berlin Wall came down, even high ranking Communist officials were selling off their luxury items for hard American cash. Both systems have their greed. Don't fool yourself.

Say you don't understand money without saying you don't understand money. Most billionaires are rated as billionaires because of the current value of the shares they own. It's not cash. We tax income, not the theoretical value of unsold shares or assets. there's literally no way to detect when someone ''becomes' a billionaire. This idea is dumb and impossible.

This is meaningless. Jeff Bezos didn't become billionaire because he's making a billion dollars a year. He owns shares in Amazon that is valued at a trillion dollars making him a billionaire. Are you proposing we confiscate his shares above 1 billion and do what with them? You can't sell it because that would bring entire stock market and economy down.

If we were to look at the numbers, the U.S. job market came through January in much better shape than expected despite a winter wave of coronavirus infections.

According to a new tally from the Labor Department, employers added 467,000 jobs last month, far outpacing even the most optimistic forecasts. Which is even more impressive when you consider the surge in COVID-19 cases brought on by the omicron variant.

The unemployment rate inched up to 4% in January from 3.9% the month before, but that's only because nearly 1.4 million people entered the job market.

It is engrained in the American culture that people shouldn't be paid for what they are doing but they are paid according to some arbitrary system where people who have spend more money on education get paid more for whatever they are doing. Yet somehow, they are not deemed "essential workers" in times of crisis.

To combat this barrage of negativity, Rao believes workers should stop labeling things as good or bad.

"The moment you say something is a 'bad' thing, you experience it that way," he explained. "You live your life in a constant cycle reinforcing itself." Rao rejects the theory of positive psychology which suggests that thinking happy thoughts will make them a reality because according to him, it's a form of self-deception. Rather, he suggests looking at situations as they truly are.

😉 when I was in high school working my first job in retail my boss would send me to the beach to get him an ice cream from a particular shop... He knew full well that there was no way to get the ice cream to him without it being completely melted. I would get him an ice cream from the shop next door before I came back from a 2 hour break on the clock. It was his way of giving me time off on the clock because we had no customers and it was too nice out. I reminded him of his daughter and he was very fatherly to me. Thank you, Harley, if you're still out there.
