So the Facebook group "Heck, this is super wholesome" is here to help.
It's a place where people share anything that makes them happy. They keep their posts clean and try to be nice to one another. It sounds too good to be true, I know, I've been on Twitter, but I assure you, everything's real. This group is legit. And here's a collection of its most popular posts to prove it.

Can we just normalize crying for normal things? It's healthy. It's good. It means we feel things and have emotions and care about people and animals and things. Yet every time there's a post with emotions, come the same old "onion-cutting ninjas" "I'm not crying you're crying" etc etc comments. Can we - refresh this approach? Do something different?
The owner of "Heck, this is super wholesome", Yuki Rahman, told Bored Panda she launched it at the start of the pandemic in 2020. "I thought of creating a group where we would only share wholesome vibes to make people happy and that's how it all began," she said.
And it immediately took off. Even though it's still a baby in terms of Facebook group age, "Heck, this is super wholesome" already has over 122K members.

My wife makes me a simple stew that my nonna made me when I was a kid, it is very childish and simple and only has pasta, potatoes and peas with beef stock. It always makes me happy and she knows that.
"The most popular things in the group are animals and kids, but there's pretty much everything that makes people happy and/or boosts their creativity," Rahman explained.
"Our community is really wholesome. Just like the content in the group. Getting this big wouldn't have been possible without them. The members share such amazing and wholesome stories, we constantly make each other's day."
But Rahman also acknowledges and really appreciates all the hard work done by the group's admins and moderators. They put a lot of effort into maintaining the group the way it was intended to be.

This was a campaign launched by a wildlife association. The jumpers are to stop penguins who've been in oils spills from preening themselves before they can get cleaned. The foundation wanted around 100 jumpers, but got thousands!

It's very important these days to keep your spirits up. Many people in the world are not doing so well. We all have our problems. And they can get the best of us. That's why it's so awesome that groups like this one exist where you can go and look at adorable pets and heartwarming moments that restore your faith in the future.
When you see sweet moments like these, all you can do is smile. But remember that you can also the happiness with your friends. Even if it's just a link to a cute photo, spreading positivity around the world will not go unnoticed.
We often forget how important our emotions are, not only to us but to those around us. We come home grumpy, wake up with the thought that we hate our job, etc., the negativity can swallow us. However, if we enjoy our hobbies, spend time with our friends and family, spread some love and happiness, and try to see the brighter side of things, we realize there's so much more.

My 7 year old found the most adorable stray kitten I have ever laid eyes on a few days ago. She's longhaired, black and white, has the softest coat I've ever felt and was ravenously hungry. We live out in the country and I have no clue where this tiny creature came from. She must have been crying for hours because her little voice was hoarse. I'm so worried she had siblings out there. But if they're there, I've yet to find them. This baby is safe though. We named her Clementine and she already acts like she owns the place.

My mum's old cat had a friendly black cat that would come visit her every night. One night, while housesitting for her, I was outside and saw him. He had an injured eye. I invited him in for dinner and he accepted then spent the night in the bathroom. The next day the vet said the black cat had an abcess and the eye needed removing plus more vet work. Okay, the idea was that he would stay with me while he recovered. In the end he stayed with me for the next 8 years until kidney disease took him. And he was a hell of a cat.

Very true. My cat chose us 4 years ago. Stray at the time. Probably 6 months old. We weren't looking to get another cat due to losing our other cats within 2 weeks of each other, about 8 months before he showed up. But he walked up on our porch and in our door. Rest is history.

My late cat was a pretty good hunter and even killed rats almost his own size, yet one day he did exactly that and came back with a wet leaf from our neighbour's pond. My father was pretty happy it was just a leaf, as the neighbour is pretty proud about his fish and having to tell them your cat just ate one... not the best topic to start the day.

Once I had family visiting and we had a chocolate cake. My cousin, aged 4 was not allowed to eat sugary treats because they are bad for you, but she wanted that cake. So I, who was a teen, cut her a small small piece and gave it to her. We got busted because she had chocolate all over her face. To this day she thanks me for giving her her very first taste of chocolate, and she is in her 30s.

found it Algae isn't something to worry about, unless it's out of control, then it might be a water quality issue. You can scrub it off with a soft bristled toothbrush, but if there's still a little left, it's ok. I think a little algae might actually be kind of good.

To this day I still think of one of the nicest things a coworker has ever done for me: I was having a REALLY hard time, and it showed on my face. She asked if there was anything she could do to help and I said, "no, but thank you." I went to lunch and when I came back she had left a post it next to my keyboard that said, "You're amazing and you got this,". I instantly started crying (crying now actually) and just that little gesture was extremely meaningful. I brought that note to my current job and had it until they moved me while I was on leave and lost my note :(

Reminds me of my break up years ago. I was driving and had a bit of a breakdown. I pulled over next to a park and bawled. Next thing I hear a knock on my passenger window. It was a cop, I rolled my window down and he sat with me for 15 minutes trying to console me and uplift me. Its been over 10 years and I'll never forget it.

Back in the day I was working in the men's department of a retail store. A young man came up to me with a tie in his hand and asked me if I knew how to tie it. I put him in front of a mirror and tied it for him. He gave me a quick kiss on the cheek and went bouncing out of there. Made my day.

A friend asked me to watch her 5 year old son while she dealt with an emergency (turned out fine). He's one of my favorite people so I was glad to help. When I got there, he was all excited and wanted to show me his new favorite show. I was expecting a couple hours of Peppa Pig. He turns on the TV and starts playing Star Wars from the DVR. I was his age when I first watched it and I started to cry. He told me "don't cry - the big ship goes away and we can see R2D2". I've never felt closer to a kid and had more hope for the future.

My niece is turning 11 and already acting like a teen, I miss her being obsessed with Dinosaurs and still catch myself almost buying Dino stuff for her. Now she only wants her own smartphone(she's not allowed one til she's 13) so for her birthday I'm getting her a video mp3 player loaded with 128gigs of classic 80s and 90s movies, Sailor Moon episodes, and music like Spice Girls, Taylor Swift, plus current preteen stuff of her generation(she's homeschooled and needs more culture that isn't Paw Patrol)

ALSO please be cautious about purchasing products from some private alpaca farms. A google search can show you that some animals are treated extremely cruelly. Not everywhere--but check where your yarn comes from

I have a Venus fly trap they are pretty cool. Fun fact did you know they are only native to North Carolina and South Carolina. No where else in the world has them naturally occurring.

Weird, because its close relative the Waterwheel plant (similar trap, but underwater) has historical populations all around the 'Old World" plus Australasia. And their relatives the Drosera/sundews are every continent except Antarctica.

I'm in NC and have a venus fly trap.. from what I've read you are supposed to cut these flowering stalks so it doesn't use all the main plants energy and nutriants

I've met many cats in my life, and all of them had one quirk or another. There's rarely been the same quirk on multiple cats, but each and every one has one. And I love them for this fact

Absolutely the same! Sylvia would crawl up your chest and nurse your ear like you're her mommy. Slinky loved getting shots - her thick skin made it incredibly difficult, but she would purr comfortably and instantly fall asleep when the needle went in. Maggie would go into the bathroom and caterwaul louder and louder just to hear her own voice HOWLING. Loki is an incredibly prolific huntress, Weyshus has an incredible affection for feet and strong body smells. Karma uses the same threatening meow tone no matter what mood she's in. Teabag loves other cats but is socially awkward, so is often playing frantically by himself. Enya hates all other animals and humans, except for deer. Loveable weirdos, every last one.

Cats are very conscious about their looks. A cat had a load of matted horrible fur from a bad life. The fur was shaved off and he got adopted. He hid behind the sofa and would not come out. His new owner knitted him a sweater. Then he came out from behind the sofa.

This is my ex boy friend, but current friend! We were together 6 years and separated the last 2. We are still good friends and he likes to come by for cat naps with his favorite meows! He was there for most of their lives and I find it wholesome that he still comes by and they never had to say goodbye.

Off topic, but I also recently had some eggs hatching, I've been incubating them in my room. I love listening for them to start pipping, and eventually rescuing them from the Nasty Scary Shells (they can't seem to get out on their own).

These animals are dead and stuffed. You can see the wire binding the frog to the tree on its front legs. Still kinda cute, but that's so you get the full picture.

I was told not to lick yogurt and pudding lids because "they could cut off your tongue!" or "it could split your tongue into half!" and I thought it was impossible and just licked the lids in secret. Nothing bad has happened with that so far and I'm almost 33 :p

Me too! I think it's because it's stuff you don't buy for yourself unless you have to (like your sheets have fallen apart) but it is also so nice to have new ones.
