Except for the virus deniers who either see it as a conspiracy theory or think that it’s some kind of joke "simple" people, like you and me, fell for. It’s both scary and hard to wrap one's head around how ignorant some of us can be, and below are the most recent examples that have been surfing around on social media.

I think the only medical conditions that should be exempt from masks are if you don’t have ears, or if you’re hooked up to oxygen or something so the mask can’t really fit over your tubes (in which case, maybe don’t go out during a respiratory virus pandemic?)
My husband with severe asthma wears a mask for 8 hours a night working on an assembly line. He makes it just fine.
If a person has a medical condition, then it is in THEIR best interest to stay at home. There are places that deliver food, meds, etc so they do not have to leave their home. Also, they can order online and pick up outside of the store. NO EXCUSES!

But this ADA thing works both ways, doesn't it? I mean the violation can come from the business requiring a mask or from the person claiming to have a disability. So you can phone and report a fake disability
My husband I both have Asthma - I am 65 he is 78, what gets my goat is people saying that they do not have to wear a mask becuase they are exempt because they have ashthma - if they were that ill they would not be able to be out and about wokring or drinking in pubs etc.
We are granted some protections under the ADA but is any of these selfish morons would actually read the act they'd find that businesses are required to provide reasonable accommodations but not if it puts others in danger. It's not worded exactly like that but that's the basics.

Sad that, at some stage, they lost lost the ability to critically assess information on credibility. Sad that much of said misinformation came directly from the top of their government. Yeah it's hot and annoying and it sucks that I can't have a drink, but if there's even the slightest possibility to prevent even one person from getting this disease because of it, I'm happy to do it. I know this really nice lady, she's into crystals and aurora stuff. I liked her even though I found her peculiar. She came into the library a couple of weeks ago and announced that she has a medical issue and can't wear a mask, so can she come in. I stuttered, cause I know very well she doesn't have one, but our policy/rules is that we ask each person to wear one, but we can't enforce it or withhold service. It's disheartening that a lady I quite liked is so stuck up and selfish. She can only think about her own comfort and doesn't care one iota about my health or literally anyone else around her. I had thought she was better than that. In retrospect, I should have called her out on it. But I am an introvert, so confrontation isn't exactly my strong suit.
The best thing we can all hope for is that these idiots get sick and die. Farmers call that "Culling the herd". Just let Nature take her course.

I'm 33 with later stage copd/emphysema and yeah these fools are idiots, but when ppl talk of herd immunity it's distressing.
