Walking around towns and taking photos of their places of interest you may not see the whole picture: the view from the ground doesn't permit you to fully appreciate the scale and geometry if architectural memorials.
The Russian AirPano team of photographers rises to the sky to show you different places of our planet from above.

Sagrada Familia, Barcelona, Spain
La Sagrada Familia looks like it grew like a coral, in the midst of Barcelona.
Have any spotted Dart Vader's figure at one of the arches on the outside of the church? He is at one of the back arches ,not by the main area.....have a good look around the whole exterior......
Paris, France
It might look beautiful, but the thought behind the design of the Parisian avenues was pretty sinister. They were built so that a small military force easily could control large parts of the city from a single point. Think how difficult it would be for a large mob of angry Parisians to move anywhere without soldiers getting a clean shot at them from a position at the Arc de Triomphe.
The Arc de Triomphe is nowhere near the center of Paris... The Parisian avenues have their current look due to Haussmann who enlarged a lot of places, namely to fight against insalubrity and diseases.

I think one of them was filmed there on a skyscraper.
Load More Replies...Because Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol had many scenes filmed there!
A GREAT PALCE TO VISIT ONCE IN A LIFE TIME. PUT DUBAI ON YOUR BUCKETLIST. HAVE FUNS.
New Delhi, India
Westerdok, Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Amsterdam has many more charming neighborhood. I'm intrigued that the artist chose this orderly albeit industrial-like neighborhood.
The reason is that , the artist needs tall buildings to give the desired effect, which made this post famous. Jordaan or red light or any canal in the ring, would not give this effect to this photo.

Trust me, I've been to both Dubai and NYC. But Dubai is WAY better! (not that I don't love New York City)
Load More Replies...Poor development planning in Dubai. They didn't anticipate the amount of human waste. Thousands of trucks haul the s&*t into the dessert. Grossness.
I live in the tower on the bottom left of this picture. I can tell you that whatever lens this photographer is using makes all the building look way thinner and taller than they actually are in real life. Want to see what I mean? The yellow building in the top left corner is "The Address Hotel Dubai Marina". Google it and you will see that it's tall, but nowhere near this tall.
The perspective is dizzying. I would love to see these cities in person.
Seattle, USA
I love the country lifestyle, I wish you the best, I dont live in a big city but the 2nd one in Mexico and I wish sometimes just move out to other quiet place. (Excuse my bad english :P)
Load More Replies...Curious, as Seattle is not that big of a city in the grand scheme of things. Just a night view with illuminating streetlights.
Looks like a motherboard or a city melting in lava.
Siena, Italy
I love the way all the other cities so far have been very structured and lineal and Siena is just so.....Italian!
silly comment. Siena is a Medieval city. Nothing to do with being Italian.

I live in Budapest and in my opinion this is the ugliest things-to-visit-as-a-tourist place. It's called heroes' square but it's just stone on top of stone
I hope u wanted to say boring instead of ugly! ...it's all about our history...some ppl like to visit these places and every city has similar things.....
Load More Replies...Hero's Square... might recall from Michael Jackson's History video :)
Cancun, Mexico
Ceský Krumlov, Czech Republic
Český Krumlov is MUCH prettier than what it looks like on this photo.
Madrid, Spain
I presume we're looking down into a courtyard... Very odd perspective!
That's Plaza Mayor, it was used for public executions and such but now a market place

Varanasi, India
Where you can bath along with a dead corpse in a highly polluted ganges
Why cant you just appreciate the beauty of the photograph and leave it there? There is a forum for everything and we are not here to discuss ethics
Load More Replies...it may be dirty as a lot of people have mentioned, but I spent the best 10 days of my life while travelling india in Varanasi.. such a holy city. I love the ceremonies, the colours, the people there. To see the ganges (although very dirty) made me cry with joy, I could really perceive the power and energy that flows within these waters.
Toronto, Canada
Well, the leaves are gone... You can see some orange left. Winter's coming ;)
