During the glitzy event on Sunday, Nicole posed for the cameras in a red lacy gown and some low-key makeup.
She said was “proud to join the list of extraordinary women”—which includes Susan Sarandon and Salma Hayek—in receiving the 2025 Kering Women in Motion Award.
“The Cannes Film Festival has been a part of my life for over 30 years and I am thrilled to add this incredible recognition to the many memories I’ve made here,” she said.

Days before Nicole flaunted the long locks at the Cannes Film Festival, the Babygirl actress sparked widespread speculation over her two-toned pixie hairstyle at the Met Gala 2025 red carpet on May 5.
Her hairstylist Adir Abergel shared an Instagram post about the inspiration behind her chic, super short hairstyle and how it fit into this year’s Met Gala theme of “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.”

Certainly not, but it did get me wondering about the sort of people who would even notice it. Took me quite a while - albeit largely because I hadn't a clue what a 'topper' is - to see what they were talking about, and even then I can't really see what the problem is.

She’s wearing hair falls. Like half wigs where her front and side natural hair line about an inch to inch an half is combed forward all around and left out, then the fall is added and pinned or clipped in like a hair cap, and then her hairline and edge of the fall are blended. Allows for longer looking hair and updo styles without extensions of the more noticeable kind.

I'm reading the Posts about all this famous or less famous people and the only thing that crosses my mind is how tiring it's to look always perfect, using the right dress, the right shoes, the perfect hair... to handle all the criticism and opinions, the fans, the media, the other famous... I know that they work hard for a place in the industry but...oh my... the money and the recognition must be such a power d**g that so many are willing to sacrifice their lives and privacy, sometimes the family and friends... how they not going crazy with so much to handle? this is only a out loud though... not criticizing, they have choose this Life and I have to say that it's not for everyone definitely... I couldn't... to much stress to achieve the perfection demanded by everyone and everything around them...
