Korean Illustrator Captures Love And Intimacy So Well That You Can Almost Feel It (Part 2)
A year ago we already wrote about the beautiful illustrations by Zipcy and the light touches, dreamy gazes and longing sighs that they portray.
Yang Se Eun, aka Zipcy, is an illustrator from Seoul, South Korea. She started her journey as an artist at a very young age. "Since I was 4 years old, I started to draw while watching cartoons on TV," she told Bored Panda.
The Artist is best known for her illustrations of a loving couple. Zipcy draws her pieces using Photoshop. "I do all of my drawings with Photoshop. The series schedule is tight and I have to work fast," she said. "It can take as little as one day to finish an image if I work fast, but it usually takes two days. Sometimes when I am dissatisfied with a drawing, I struggle with it for a week."
When asked what's the easiest and the hardest thing about drawing, the artist told that "the easiest parts are line drawing and facial features, while the most difficult parts are the eyes and coloring. I am most focused on expressing eyes full of love."
Take a look at the new images from an ongoing "Touch" series, inspired by "love" and "the eyes of someone who is deeply in love."

I always qonder how should a girl keep her other hand...I mean what position?
Beautiful artwork, but that forearm under her is NOT comfortable, lol.
Well, yes, sometime later your arm becomes numb but, being like that for only about 10 min everyday feels so good and is definitely worth it. Also a pillow between the arm and body helps to delay numbness. My husband of 16 years loves to get asleep like that, is our "lovey cuddly moment" of the day 😊 so blessed for that moment ❤
Load More Replies...She looks worried! If it wasn't for the other beautiful images then I would have said she was thinking about someone else 😕
इन्हें एक दूजे के सिवा कुछ और नहीं दिख रहा है बस प्यार प्यार और प्यार
These designs are beautiful! The lines are delicate, amazing how they can transmit so much calm and care.
How this artist paints light is extraordinary. I'd like to understand how it was done.
Wow, such beautiful art. So tender, loving, the emotion really shines through.
What do Koreans know about love?? They eat dogs that have been beaten hung and tortured first before dying a slow excruciatingly painful death first.
so Im single, away from my family and friends in foreign country trying to study and dreaming how could it be if i had somebody:')
These are incredibly different. Very beautiful drawings. I'm aromantic but I can see how intimate these are. Some however look rather uncomfortable and some, if it was happening to me IRL would drive me crackers 😄 But those are purely me Not the artists intention 😊 Unusual style of drawing, and unusual to see intimate without sexual imagery 😊
These are some very nice drawings that depict what someone who has never been in love thinks that it is like.
Nah, it’s the kind of love you develop after a long, involved relationship that gets to move beyond that first lust and into true intimacy. I’ve been with my husband for 15 years and true, lasting, unconditional love is built upon through time and hard work. My husband and I don’t sleep well without one another close ❤️
