My two girls have never done that. They don't like boxes, catnip, or their own beds. They prefer the pillow next to mine with their butts in my face. Nice. They don't really have time or the need to play. Maezy loves to "rassle" and is pretty good about not scratching, but she will punch me., or grab me as I walk by. They are very polite in the mornings, and usually wait patiently until they hear my breathing switch from sleep mode to awake mode - finally, and stare at me intensely until I roll out of bed. Yay - breakfast finally !!
