Chilean digital artist Fernanda Suarez continues her visionary series of reimagining Disney princesses as everyday people from the 21st century.
Except this time, Suarez not only added more princesses to the ranks of modern tales, but also included a couple of villains.
The artist thought through even the smallest details, giving her reimagined characters fitting clothes and accessories that are nods to the original tales. Can you pick up on these hidden clues?
And if classical Disney princesses as millennials don't catch your fancy, how about characters that originally neither wore crowns or even walked on two legs?

Why do they always show Hades as a white guy? He's Egyptian. Hades and Anubis are the same god. Most of the Greek gods match up with their Egyptian counterparts.

I know most of us are sick of "Disney Princesses drawn like _____" but these were a breath of fresh air into society.

These are beautiful recreations. Amount of details in each picture is huge. Artist has real talent why say such thing. I enjoyed them all and I am sure others did too.

All very lovely, but why have they ALL lost their innocence in their eyes?
Nice illustrations, and not only the characters themselves, but the backgrounds are ideal!
You see, girls don't need to have big tit's to look beautiful, I like mine smaller.
I often see pictures with red noses. Here almost every figure has a red nose, is this a special form of art or what is it based on? There have been posts like this on boredpanda before and all with a red nose. Normally this is one of the distinguishing marks of a notorious drinker. Or from someone who has gotten too cold. ^^ So except for the red noses and tons of make-up the pictures are pretty nice.
I kind of disagree with that. Disney is a work of pop art, maybe a bit too popular to see how great they are artistically. They worked with Dali, introduced Ghibli to the western culture, helped Pixar which is one of the greatest storyteller of its time. So Disney may have been bad at some time, they may be a bit too commercial at some point, but saying that they suck imagination out of talented people is not correct
