If you haven't heard about BTS by now, you might be living under a rock. At the moment, this 7 member group is probably one of the most influential bands in the world. Earlier this year BTS became the first K-Pop act to hit no. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100 chart and a few days ago they won the MTV award for the best band. And these guys are truly a talented bunch.
While all of the young men - Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook - are incredible performers, one of them has an additional talent. V, whose real name is Kim Tae-Hyung, is a passionate photographer, who loves to capture the moments from the behind-the-scenes lives of BTS members. But that's not all he does. The 22-year-old from South Korea, inspired by the works of minimalist photographer Ante Badzim, began his photo journey under the name of Vante, which he chose as the tribute to his favorite artist.

The only reason people assume that these pictures are extraordinary is because someone famous took them. It's not bad, sure, but not really that special.
The writer of this article is just exaggerating V 's work.. he is not a photographer. Photography is his hobby not job. Also all these pics he click randomly for his fans. These shouldn't be here without his permission and then you guys judging them without any idea if they are professional pictures or pictures clicked by him randomly.

Okay paragraph time ladies and gents, one; I get if you don't like the pics bc everyone has a different taste in art but please don't say that there is nothing special about them cuz that isn't true to some people like the saying "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", and to the photographer the only reason why they would take the pic is bc it means something to them, too, I do agree that the description is kind of passive but be willing to accept the fact that it is the OPINION of the person who posted this and they didn't mean to harm anyone or make you feel offended, three to those who commented that the only reason that people only liked the pics is bc someone famous took them is completely false, as a photographer myself a lot of people like my work and I am nowhere near famous, and even if you do think that don't say it, it comes off as petty even if (and I am pretty sure it was like this) you don't want it to come off like that] 1/2

I guess that's the point, "minimalist" photography! But yes u rightly said, nothing special!
Every photographer knows the meaning of their pictures. To the photographer, all the pictures have a deep meaning and are special. People can like or dislike pictures. Considering that V is a member of the boygroup BTS, and is actually a singer, his pictures look really nice. He is not a professional photographer, neither did he start taking pictures ages ago. For a hobby, I think that his pictures have something special. Of course he knows the story behind his pictures the best. Saying "those pictures aren't special" or the person "isn't good at photography" -sorry for my tone- but who are you again? Do I have to remind you that there is nothing like a bad picture... Photography is art. There is no "bad art". In conclusion, for someone who's actually not a professional photographer and is quite busy being on tour, those pictures are truly great! :)

I actually like his pictures and appreciate them knowing the fact that he is not a professional photographer or something but a singer, actor and dancer. Beautiful, breathtaking, Kim, Taehyung shared his hobby with us to inspire us 💜 He is a pure soul and some of these disparaging comments show the ignorance of those who wrote them. His art and photography are a reflection of his gentleness. Learn about someone before judging! He is a great Singer, Actor, Dancer, songwriter, painter, and the most visually stunning man in the World! His name should be with the few greats in History who have shared their art with mankind! Become an intellectual yourselves and learn about who you're talking about! His photography is lovely, just like him💜He even composed a masterpiece song called "Scenery" about his love for capturing moments through photos of his travels. He is a genius, Show some RESPECT!

I only read the title at first and "BTS" in photography speak means "behind the scenes" so I thought these were gonna be pics of the stuff that went into making the photos. Wrong. Funny thought that in the text it says "from the behind-the-scenes lives of BTS members"
What blatant fanboy wrote that intro text? I mean, wow. It sounds like "death sentence to all who haven't heard of them yet". Also, the photos are mediocre at best. I myself took similar ones to about half of them, and I wouldn't call myself a "talented photographer" by any means
First of all everyone has different taste in art and all are good . If u don't like the pics just leave. If u are troubled by the article, u came for article or pics ? If u still don't feel good don't even rake these pics as inspiration if u just gonna mock them . And also if u think the writer is exaggerating , who doesn't like to talk passionately about the celeb they like and exaggerate it . And u think it's exaggeration we don't. The issue is that BTS doesn't leave anyone indifferent, I even see comments from people who say "don't know or not miss anything important" however, they are here. Interesting ... Now the work of KIM TAEHYUNG / V is even more interesting, of course beautiful. He does photography as entertainment between tours, concerts, composition of his music (by the way, they should listen to SCENERY, he has so much to see in his photography) that he uses it to create memories with his fans. He is not a professional photographer, however, his views are beautiful, bright, pleasant and quiet to observe. You also have to think that art is absolutely subjective. So judging his work just because "hE Is fAmOuS" speaks only of a closed mind that thinks they did "something" with showing contempt. This reminds me of the impressionists, so vilified by their work by people who didn't understand their point of view or their art. However, now everyone loves a Monet.
When I was into J-pop over a decade ago, I, too, thought that it was the new hype and everyone should know it because so famous etcetc. Looking back I know that hardly anyone, who didn't look to Japan every other day, could have known about these bands. Yes, they've been to several festivals and mentioned here and there on the news. But that didn't make them "famous" in the West. To accuse people of "living under a rock" is a bit more than just insulting imo. You are inside your cultural bubble, I am in mine. Even I know about things you've never heard of. Please stop insulting me just because I'm not interested in the same things as you are.

But also, it's not just BTS in the K-pop genre. There are so many other amazing groups and I love BTS but it's sad that many people don't know about other groups. (SHINee, EXO, VAV, BlackPink, RedVelvet, ect)
