Rowan Stocks-Moore, a London-based freelance illustrator and graphic designer, who's passionate about book cover and movie posters, as well as design in general, puts his unique perspective on classic Disney movies.
The talented artist explored the undersurface of Disney's fairytale 'happily ever afters' and gave 16 of the most iconic Disney posters a minimalist treatment. In his alternative poster designs, he masterfully plays with darker tones and unexpected creative ideas that would appeal to adult audiences while still depicting charming plots that our inner children are so familiar with.
Most of the artist's stripped-down Disney designs offer more than they seem at first glance, so make sure your eyes and brain work together not to miss these secret gems in his cool posters!

Snow White
Beauty And The Beast
WOw, this looks cool. Looks like a perfect cover of the Grim version.
The Jungle Book
Alice In Wonderland
101 Dalmatians
Bambi
Peter Pan
Sleeping Beauty
Dumbo
My friends mock me having big ears, don’t worry dumbo we will get through this
I love this. It really captures the raw brutality of the lives of the circus' use of animals. The fear in the eye of the black elephant says so much. One of the clearest depictions of fear and anger I've ever seen was in the eye of a rampaging elephant in an old photo. They suffer so deeply, and so unjustly. They are so much larger and more powerful, you'd think they would be the aggressor, but we have built cages and tools of torture to keep them enslaved. We can really be monsters sometimes. Elephants don't belong in captivity. Period.
The Lion King
The Aristocats
Aladdin
The Little Mermaid
Pinocchio
Lady And The Tramp
The Princess And The Frog
These are much more beautiful and more imaginative than the "original" versions. Truly fantastic works.
This artist is very talented. 10/10 in both in creativity and execution.
Disney should seriously start paying this guy to design Disney posters.
The Bambi one looks like "Bambi II - the Revenge". Scared the hell out of me....
Another Cowboys and Aliens alternative poster I loved. ZZ27884C25...5ec1b8.jpg
Love these. And while I did love the Cowboys and Aliens posters that were used, I also liked this one (Why won't they let you posy more than one pic?) cowboysali...6-jpeg.jpg
When you see these illusions, you can't unsee them. These have amazing attention to detail.
I am at least 95% sure Bored Panda is sponsored by Disney. The amount of Disney posts here is absurd.
But it's usually good stuff so it fits right in. Plus Disney owns half of fantasy pop culture, so they're pretty tuff to avoid. Star Wars, Marvel, the Disney cartoons etc.
