We used to dive for rubber bricks in our jimjams when I was swimming in primary school. I mean obviously nowadays, I walk endlessly up and down canals in my jimjams on the look out for a rubber brick.

Threw us off the boat into one of the Great Lakes in a storm. I still can't swim, but I sure as he** never go on water without a life jacket.)

But if you're lost at sea you're going to be on some sort of life raft which is usually equipped with some sort of gear. You learn this stuff in sea survival school and he's exactly correct. I had to go through similar training on an actual life raft in a pool. There were a group of us and each one of us had to individually swim to the raft and flip it over and get into it. We also had to all huddle in the raft upside down together for "warmth". We had to learn how to make drinking water like this and save each other. We also had to do firefighting, etc. but a raft has bare essentials on it. You also might have brought a ditch kit from a boat with you into the water.

Unlikely I agree, but after reading it, if I was nuts enough to go out on the ocean, I'd probably ensure they were packed knowing this. Could also possible be useful inland hiking or whatever (you might have to use urine instead?? not sure but better than dying of thirst)

You can check *as* you get in because it's on the edge of the door, although *some* do need the key. When you lock in from the button, almost every car can still be opened from the inside, which is why most cars have a "double lock" function for when you leave the car.

That's what I was thinking. I buy pretty expensive bras just for the one reason that it takes longer till the underwire pokes through. So yeah, it will take a lot longer than 8 seconds to get that thing out.

I think you'd need to get the handcuffs to the front first - if they are the old fashioned kind with a chain that would be possible - but the more modern rigid ones would be a bit tricky.

Im guessing this advice would help in a kidnapping scenario , i saw that documentary about the girl who was kidnapped and hidden chained in a basement. She still had her clothes and bra.
