This is beautiful - and smart. Is it *really* "I'm not happy because this person did not make me happy" - or is it "I chose to dwell on everyone else's opinion/seek outside validation and thus made myself unhappy"? Much easier said than done, true... and NO - this is NOT an excuse for anyone to be mean to other people.

Because as they say beauty fades away with time but not the good qualities one has. When you die you will not be remembered for your looks but for the good qualities and good deeds that you did.

I actually do this, when I have good (and achievable) dreams in my sleep, I decide the next day to make them come true !! Like once I had a dream for kinders surprise egg and I got a really cute toy, so I HAD to buy one and make it happen :D (i only eat kinder eggs on special occasions) :P

This one is important. Whatever your goal is, just focus on enjoying to road to it. Your future may turn out a lot different from your own design, but a future is always not there yet. The important thing is to endeavor to enjoy and live in the present. That's why you need to pick a university and a major you find genuinely interesting, rather than something dull and boring because "it will bring you money".
