11 Times Parents Accidentally Forgot Their Kids

Pre car-ride checklist: keys, phone, wallet and baby? The Kardashians are experts on lighting up the internet and four years ago Kim Kardashian did exactly that, after a video circulated of her appearing to forget her daughter in the hotel lobby. Kim addressed the situation on Twitter after it happened, but just like Keeping Up With The Kardashian re-runs, people can’t seem to stop watching. The video re-appeared on Reddit and users took the opportunity to share their own “forgotten children” stories with the internet. From sports events to Walmart, Bored Panda has gathered the good, the bad and the hilarious tales of forgetful parents. (Cover image: Javier Rapoport)

What do you think ?
LOL, well calling Kim K a "parent" is quite a stretch.
parents can be trash. i was forgotten at elementary school one day. normally my mom picked me up within 30 minutes after school was out. 45 minutes after the final bell and most everyone was gone. no mom. so i went to the office that was still thankfully open and asked to call my mom. called her and "oh shit i totally forgot!" heres a good point to remind i was in 5th grade and had been doing this for about 4 years. she said she would be on her way. i went back outside to wait.....another 30 minutes. no mom.......i go back to the office which is STILL open*god bless those people* they look surprised to see me and i tell them once again i need to call my mom. call her up. "oh shit i forgot again!!!" yes. in her rush to get out of the office she completely forgot why she was leaving work and forgot about me again.....in the same day.....within 2 hours......
Parents can really muck up at times but twice on the same day? I feel for you.
The same thing happened to me, but the office was unfortunately closed. I walked all the way to my house ! And I was in 3rd grade, so scared to walk on my own on roads I never went on by myself.
sucks so much. i couldnt just walk home myself. we lived a few miles away from the school and i didn't have a key to the house either.
i know this may rock your little world, but your mother had a life that was separate from you. You were the most important thing in her life, but not the only thing in her life. She was at work, and she had to keep that job in order to feed, clothe, and shelter you. She had responsibilities. Beinga working parent is very difficult and stressful. It sounds like thsi was a one-time thing, so I really think you should let it go.
I'll bet it was the moth-infestation that had her completely distracted.
