Why can't you just be happy for the guy? It still took work and the hard part now is keeping it off.

Fun fact! I'm classified as obese. I've on and off struggled with my health and am again trying something new but find myself shunned on all fronts, like John here. You're overweight, you're criticized for that. You lose the weight, you're criticized for that. How about we all just stfu about anyone else's body? How does someone's weight or diet or body have anything to do with you? Oh it literally doesn't? Then stfu and move along. It's f*****g crazy society thinks anyone's body shouldn't be theirs and only theirs and is none of our f*****g business.

Healthy people want to see other people be healthy. Unhealthy people look at the Adele's, Goodmans and Lizzo's of the world and are upset at the realization that their justification for poor health is no longer there. It's two different issues....one based in concern, the other in selfishness. It's justified to be upset by the latter, it's unhinged to be upset by the former.
