Professionals are professionals for a reason. Most things in life are endlessly more complex than they might seem on the surface. If you will forgive the pun, surfaces are a great example, something we hardly even think about until it’s time for some deep cleaning.
The TikTok account of a New Zealand cleaning service went viral when they shared the things they would do and avoid doing based on their professional experience. From the size of drains to the materials used to put together a kitchen, take note for the next time you are designing. So be sure to upvote your favorite tips and comment your thoughts. We got in touch with the company behind the video to learn more.

Would Do - Ceiling High Kitchen Cabinets
This will avoid dust and grease buildup, plus more storage.
Yeah listen buddy, i'm short as f**k and cant even reach the cabinets now, let alone when the are above the damn clouds.
Lol need a 6 ft ladder I'm with you on being short
Load More Replies...If you live in a rented house and the cabinets do not reach the ceiling, put paper like newspapers or cut suitable pieces from paper bags and change them from time to time. No more scrubbing grease dust.
Thanks for that tidbit. We live in a flat and I hate cleaning that doggone top of the cupboards. I'm going to do that from now on.
Load More Replies...Nope, just nope. The little galley kitchen in my mom's apartment that had to be remodeled a few weeks ago got custom-made cabinets in the same size as the originals (no longer available in that size, I mean, they were from 1966!) and still a good foot from the ceiling. Why? Well, to the ceiling cabinets make a small kitchen like that feel closed in, plus, if I'm lucky enough to retire to this apartment, I don't want to have to climb a ladder to reach my cabinets. Both my future spouse and I are not that tall!
I built a valance to close in my cabinets to eliminate the grease trap.
My kitchen has 6 m ceilings. That would be a ton of space! I can actually climb on top of them and sit on my knees to reach the corners to clean.
Load More Replies...It won't give you more storage. Unless you buy custom made cabinets, the top is filled with a pannel.
Not in here - my local shop offers wall cabinets in heights of “12, 15, 18, 24, 30, 32, 36, and 42 inches.” Had them installed and the space is usable to the top
Load More Replies...If you have ordinary wall cabinets you can build/have build small cabinets on top for the things you hardly ever use.
Bored Panda got in touch with Leaders Cleaning and they were kind enough to answer some of our questions. We wanted to know why they decided to start a TikTok account in the first place. "First, is to give exposure to our business, as regular TikTok users ourselves, we think the social media presence gives some sort of reassurance to the potential client that they are making the right choice."
"Secondly, is to share our experience. Of course, we are not perfect and always learning, however, we have worked through hundreds if not thousands of properties, so we have an idea of what performs better for the easier life in terms of maintaining a home," they shared with Bored Panda.
Wouldn't Do - Spiral Kitchen Tap
Looks great and professional. However, dust and dirt accumulate a lot in between spirals.
It's for keeping the shape of the hose and supporting it. But cleaning is hard, indeed. Specially if you have hard water, like I do (350 mg CaCO3/l).
Load More Replies...i used to have this. for around 8 years straight. changed our shower heads around 6 months ago to without spirals and my showers have never felt cleaner!
I have one of these and I don’t find i I have an issue with it…and I’m a pretty lazy housekeeper. No dust or dirt. Just the usual from normal use and I just give it a quick once over when I use it and it’s fine. My hose is not metal like in the picture though. It’s a braided nylon (I think).
This one is kind of a duh one! Dust and dirt don't collect on the spiral kitchen tap is you wipe it down when you do kitchen clean up.
The point is that you cannot get down to the actual tube below the spiral good enough.
Load More Replies...Would Do - Shower Without A Glass And With Larger Tiles For Less Grout
Yeah. As we age, those glass doors become more dangerous.
Load More Replies...That's when you change the floor. A slight angle down to the drain sorts it all out.
Load More Replies...Yes! I just re-did my bathroom and my husband wanted to put in a glass sliding door. I would have been all for it if I hadn't had one growing up. The glass gets that mineral build up making it look cloudy and the rails get black gunk built up in it. It's a lot of maintenance. I have no desire to scrub out the rails with a toothbrush every couple months or de-cloud the door. A curtain is so much simpler.
You angle the floor when you are making the change so it all goes to a floor drain.
Load More Replies...Tilers hate large tile showers, because it's much more difficult to install (each large tile has to be plumbed and levelled individually, the thinset has to be applied to the tile rather than the surface, etc.), but honestly the end result is so much better.
I have those large floor to ceiling plastic back pieces that are made from bathrooms in my wetroom. They're great as there is no grout, just sealant that is flush down the few joins. As the pieces are totally flush there are no indents for making cleaning harder and I can use a window cleaning squeegee to quickly clean them down. Best thing I ever chose
No glass as in no shower door? I’ve actually heard people complain about that feature in their showers. That makes for some cold showers not being able to hold the heat in
We also wanted to hear if they had any other tips for the folks at home. "The main mistake is using the wrong tools/products and not reading cleaning product labels. Not only can it be a serious health hazard to mix different cleaning products, but it can also damage the materials irretrievably. It can be bad for natural materials like wood and stone. We have seen it all."
"If it looks clean - it is clean. Visual cleanliness can be deceptive and commonly used areas like benchtops, table handles, toilets, and the vanity need a good detergent or disinfectant to sit and work for a few minutes for its actual cleaning properties. Cleaning can be overwhelming, take it one step at a time and clean a little bit every day rather than all at once. If you have the opportunity, reach out to your local cleaning professionals, in our experience it gives so much relief to our busy clients."
Wouldn't Do - Mirror Behind A Tap
Just catches all the splashes.
if not a mirror, then wouldn't the wall catch it and make the wall dirty?
At least these are easy to clean. " Secret"from a cleaner; have two microfiber cloths. One dry one plain wet. No soap !! Just make the tap, sink and mirror wet with the wet cloth . Then dry with a dry cloth... That is all there is to it.
Load More Replies...I had a mirror behind the tap as I was growing up. It looked like the glass was breaking off curved chips on the bottom. My dad said that the water from the tap splash was making the 'silver' come off. This was a house built around 1950.
Wouldn't Do - Black Granite Sink
Hard water stains are real. After it's stained, really hard to clean.
They also get very nasty without you realizing it. The blackish mildew just blends in.
Had one, never again. Currently have a large black ceramic one, much, much better.
We have a black granite sink and even though we have water this has never been a problem. We use it a lot though and soap it probably every day
You may nio have hard tap water in your area. In my childhood home we had soft water and i took it for granted. I purchased my first home in 2019 and it has super hard water. I hate it. Dries out the skin, ruins all the plumping, and stains all the taps
Load More Replies...Wouldn't Do - Stainless Steel Bench Top
Requires a lot of polishing for a clean look. Best for commercial kitchens.
Nope, i love mine. The sink is built in, so there are no little sink corners for c**p to breed in. Who gives a fudge if it's not shiny all the time?
Yes, mold in the gap between the counter top and sink I would guess otherwise? 🥗 (using the sallad-emoji as an Petri dish..) Stainless is practical!
Load More Replies...No it doesn't. I had one, old school. A wipe each day was all it needed to sparkle. It's STAINLESS!
I have a stainless steel cutting board. I’d give anything for a stainless steel counter top.
Load More Replies...OTOH, they are much more anti-microbial than alternative countertop treatments.
I have a gas stainless steel stovetop. I would never change it for an induction. So easy to clean. You can scrub it with whatever you want. Rinse it, wipe it one more time with a microfiber cloth, and is nice and shiny. If you want that "out of the box" look, Spray it with glass cleaner and wipe it with a paper towel one more time. I don't do that. It's my home, not an appliance store, but if you wish, it's easy.
Why not induction? They are also easy to clean, just plain glass? Induction is also faster and less heat in room?
Load More Replies...Another don't: granite counters with specks of color the same shade as dirt/coffee/foods you regularly eat! Had this at my last apartment and the counters always looked dirty! It dove me nuts
I have really bad OCD. I drive my friends nuts cleaning stuff when we have dinner together and if we go out to eat, I bus the table before the waitress gets there. I would give anything for stainless steel and the clean look.
Load More Replies...In my country stainless steel countertops are standard. It's b******t that they'd need a lot of polishing. Just wipe them off and they look fine. Also a lot more hygienic than most other materials.
The first time you start living by yourself, you become acutely aware of just how hard it can be to clean things. You end up with a never-ending war with dust and humidity, windows that get dirty milliseconds after you clean them, and nooks buried so deep it's easier to “forget” to clean them. And the moment you start to think you might be winning, you learn why vacuuming and a mop are not the same as deep cleaning. This process can be so time-intensive and require so much specialist equipment and chemicals that people can and often do simply hire professionals, like “Leaders Cleaning,” who made the videos featured here.
The most common “evil” one might encounter is black mold, which absolutely loves to show up wherever there is but a little too much moisture. As a child, you may have not even realized that those black areas in a less-than-tidy bathroom were mold. Perhaps it’s dirt, mud, or just general grim, you could have thought to yourself.
Wouldn't Do - Corded Wooden Or Metal Blinds
Corded wooden or metal blinds get tangled, collect dust, dirt and mold. Very, very, very hard to clean.
I 100% hate venetian blinds. Whoever invented them deserves a special place in hell.
Also, large, energetic kittens named Audi will murder blinds in a heartbeat. Every single day, there's at least one new piece of blind corpse on the floor.
I was looking after my sister's cat while she was on holiday. Made the mistake of closing the blind in one room the first night and apparently he wasn't on board with this idea at all. Came down to find them shredded. He wanted to see outside... fair enough! 😆
Load More Replies...A duster just dusts it around. I needed to clean that with a damp towel, one at the time, both sides. Believe me it takes hours if you have multiple of these in the house
Load More Replies...You can get blinds that easily can be taken down with a click system and for cleaning hang it in the shower and hose it down
I put mine (PVC) in the bathtub to soak with some dish soap. Leave it for an hour or so and then just rinse them. Super easy. They only need done about once every 2 years.
Load More Replies...Get vertical ones! Very privacy friendly - you can open them to a corner of your room and lots of light comes in but no one can look in.
I hate ours. The blades come off and break too easy (especially if used for sliding doors with a pet). The tracks are hard to keep clean (being short doesn't help).
Load More Replies...You can buy specific dusting thingymybobs for venetian blinds. BTW, how do you make a Venetian blind? Poke them in the eyes.
I like wood blinds, as I have a vision disability, and need a dark room. Blinds plus blackout curtains.
Would Do - Bath Attached To The Wall
If not attached, there is water, dust, and mold in this little gap between the wall and bath.
I have a free standing bath in a tiny bathroom. I would definitely not recommend this. You just cannot clean it. I just clean what I can see and try not to think about the rest.
Free-standing tubs are a truly dumb idea for the reason you stated--plus the cost. Interior designers and thoughtless clients, however, go ga-ga over them.
Load More Replies...like the little gap between the side of the bath and the wall in the pic? :)
Yes! They are lovely. This is the one I want but I don't have the right bathroom for it sadly. LIS1400MAS...6de457.jpg
I would like a old fashion iron cast bathtub with the Lion claws feet. But I just think of the cleaning of it. Keeping underneath and around the feet would be hard.
Those can look really cool but indeed the cleaning is a big nope 😅
Load More Replies...Would Do - Electric Or Induction Cooktop
Needs only a quick wipe after each use. What a dream.
I used to prefer gas to electric range tops. I've had induction in my last two apartments. I'll never go back to gas!
Same! Used gas hob all my life and resisted change, finally gave in and got induction last year…….what was I waiting for?? It’s brilliant in all aspects.
Load More Replies...I absolutely hate my electric cooktop. The heat is harder to regulate, the surface is hard to clean, scorches or boil overs have to be scraped off with a razor blade after the surface finally cools down. Give me a good gas stove.
If you had induction you woudn't have such problems. You can mostly touch the surface right after turning off, and if you are afraid of spills put a dishtowel under the pan, and wash it, if anything gets spilled.
Load More Replies...Not a fan of those at all. They shatter and are sometimes not aligned with the the burner area. I much prefer a gas range.
Never shattered here? If you don't slam anything on them they'll probably hold.
Load More Replies...I loved having gas over traditional electric... and then I got an induction stove-top and my life was changed. I will never go back. Boil water in 90 seconds, seer a steak in a cast iron pan in minutes, incredible control over the temperature of the pan. I am just glad the cost has been dropping, easier to get into more homes. And as an added bonus, the most environmentally friendly of the 3 options (traditional electric, gas, induction).
Yes! Had one for awhile 2004,but now "just" electric "glas top" stove. (Good English tonight from me..)
Load More Replies...I bought Bev an induction cooker when she used one on holiday and said she would have a blast cooking on one. She loves it. It cooks faster and we noticed pots don't seem to boil over
While I do like a gas top, induction is so much easier. Just make sure it has real physical knobs and not touch controls.
I like my touch controls personally, makes it easier to clean. They are lockable in the 'off' position and so small children and pets can't accidentally switch them on. Though that might not be the reason you prefer physical knobs!
Load More Replies...Despite being so ubiquitous, black mold is disproportionately bad for humans. Besides looking gross, there are a number of links between the presence of mold and respiratory issues. While scientists have yet to discover a hard correlation between the two, there does seem to be enough secondary evidence to suggest having random black mold in your corners is bad.
Wouldn't Do - Open Plan Range Hood
Collects grease and dust. At the same time, hard to reach the top.
Can confirm. I hate it. Looks dusty and greasy again just a few days after cleaning.
My husband wanted one, so I told him OK if he cleaned it. Then he died, so now I'm stuck with it, and I have to find a way to clean it. Would not recommend.
Load More Replies...On the reno shows they have wooden ones. Won't they just absorb the grease and dust and start to smell?
I have never had this problem! Just a light clean once a week. Takes 2 minutes.
I haven't either. Maybe it's because I very, very rarely fry anything and so there's no microscopic particles of that going into the air and landing on surfaces.
Load More Replies...We have one of these. I love it, and I (M78) domost of the housrhold cleaning. Also have the spiral faucet; easy to clean, and I do it regulsrly :-)
Wouldn't Do - Black Glass Top Table Or Furniture
Reflects dust so much, even when cleaned frequently.
I agree, but.....when my daughter started her first job, she wanted to buy something for us. So she bought a black glass coffee table. Still have it and don't have the heart to get rid of it as she was so tickled to be able to do something nice for us, but I have to clean it every other day....dust and fingerprint catcher.
Load More Replies...I keep rediscovering that fact that an optical computer mouse doesn't work at all on a glass surface, after buying my daughter a glasstop desk and trying to use my laptop on my other daughter's glass tabletop. Yeah, the other annoying thing about glass tabletops is trying to figure out which side of the glass the dirt is on.
I wish I'd thought more about this when we first moved into our new house twenty years ago, I was bedazzled by all that sparkling glass, and now I absolutely hate it.
I used to get stressed out in a house I used to clean that was alllllll black glass and and stainless gold rim
Would Do - Rimless Toilet
My favorite. So easy to clean and no place for germs to breed.
In the back, yes, where the water comes out, but not on the sides. Usually there is a downward rim there. I
Load More Replies...I do have this thing and it's not as awesome as it might sound. While looking great and being super easy to clean, the stream of water when flushed runs only on the front and back of the bowl. The sides are basically dry after flushing, so you need to clean it manually with a toilet brush anyway.
I don't know what brand you have but, I bought a Kohler and it completely rinses the whole bowl really well. It does, for lack of a better word, a full swoosh all the way around.
Load More Replies...I worked, for a while, in a UK DIY store in the kitchens and bathrooms dept. There are two types of rimmed bowls, one has a lip round the edge, round which the water is directed and falls pretty randomly round the bowl. These do not clean the bowl very well, but they are cheaper. As the OP states, the rim is open to contamination. The better, more expensive ones have the rim channel enclosed, with a series of holes all the way round, and these distribute the water all the way round and flush much better.
Does that mean no lid? Flushing without a lid doesn't seem sanitary.
While you can physically scrub away mold, without chemicals, you are unlikely to fully eradicate it. While this can be done at home, it’s one reason why it can be beneficial to contact professionals. Black mold can regrow in as little time as 24 hours, so imagine working all day only to be defeated by some fungus in roughly a day's time.
Wouldn't Do - Round Shower Cabin
Harder to clean. Squeegee and get into sliding fixtures. Could save space but would keep as a last resort.
Currently have this, wouldn't get it again. Why do they make bathroom fittings that are so hard to clean?!
Better one with hinges, weather square or round. Any sliding system gets dirty more easily, weather round or square...
Load More Replies...Well actually any shower doors that slide - the rail they slide over is hard to clean, and there is often an overlap which you can't really clean.
Load More Replies...Because men are designing them for looks and not practicality.
We have one of these as it’s all that would fit in our tiny shower room. It’s very hard to clean.
Wouldn't Do - Glossy Floor Tiles
Really prone to streaks.
The former owner of our house though black glossy floor tiles look great in the entrance area. ...they don't! At all!
I have white. Who puts white tiles in their hall???? Extremes of colours like black and white always show the dirt. Spend my life cleaning them and wishing I could get rid of them (husband not on board with that idea sadly - money and effort).
Load More Replies...Genius who did my bathroom floor installed these, need to be so careful.
I will NEVER understand having marble floors in the bathroom. We had them in San Diego and the were really slippery if wet.
How are we all getting these streaks in your kitchen. I have most of the features shown here in my kitchen. I have no problem going streak free. What are y’all using to clean with?
Mine are glossy and textured. I use a steam mop and it dries streak free.
Wouldn't Do - Long Shower Drains Inserts
Looks sleek, however, collects all the hair and dirt really fast. Also gives an odor if not cleaned often.
'Oh, no, there's hair in the long drain inserts! What will i do? I know, call Mum, she'll come and clean up my mess. After all, i'm only 37.'
Load More Replies...No, the point of this article is things that clean easier.
Load More Replies...Just redid our entire walk-in shower, with the new long shower drain insert. Holy cow, does it show how much hair has actually been going down the drain all these years. The new drain is an absolute win-win. We (ok, "I", my wife won't touch it), clean the strainer the first of every month. Easy-peasy.
After a few years of maintaining your own place, it gets easier to spot potential issues. From weird shapes and surfaces to easily stained materials, there are so many pitfalls. For the same reason that we don’t wear white every day, it’s worth thinking about every design choice from the perspective of “How will I clean this?” and “How will this look after a year of use?”
Wouldn't Do - Kitchen Rug
Looks good but gets dirty constantly with all the cooking.
There are rugs specifically designed for kitchens. They are machine washable.
I also think it's easier to toss the rug in the washing machine than having to wash the floor as often. It might also be a factor that I live alone and spill mostly just water.
also tripping on one with knife or pan full of hot water in hand - no
We use the $15 carpet tiles and just cut them into place for our kitchen rug. We needed it, and it's so much cheaper than an actual rug or rugs designed for the kitchen. Vacuum it every 2nd day and replace them every 4 -6 months. :)
I’m a carpet person as I absolutely HATE walking on hard floors with my bare feet so rugs in the kitchen are a must. In front of the sink, the stove, and the main counter I work at. I just make sure to use rugs that are easily washable. If it wasn’t such a bad idea I’d be all for carpeted kitchens
My dad carpeted his kitchen years ago. It's disgusting, I hate going there
Would Do - Integrated Range Hood
Looks seamless and avoids dirt buildup. Only filters need to be washed manually or in the dishwasher on a low, medium heat short cycle.
But! Do clean the undersides of the cabinets, adjacent to the range hood, from time to time.
Would Do - Kitchen Appliances In The Pantry Cabinet
Appliances all on display require more frequent cleaning.
Easier to place them in the cabinet and do a maintenance clean.
trouble is, the toaster heats the shelf above it and eventually cracks the melamine. The kettle boils water and the steam eventually gets through the tiny cracks in the seams of the melamine and makes the chipboard wood inside swell up from the damp, bursting the shelves. It's a really really stupid idea. Experience has taught me these things.
This is a suggestion for *storing* the appliances, not for *using* them.
Load More Replies...Looks more like a beetle to me. Anyway I'm assuming it's printed on and not real.
Load More Replies...Used to have a lovely corner pantry and kept microwave and toaster out of sight
I've got a corner panty and it has given me so much extra storage. Got lazy Susans put in so things don't get lost in there and everything is easily accessible
Load More Replies...I keep most of my appliances in the cabinets and only have them on the counter when in use. Maybe if you have a butler pantry. But I can and do see the positives about this idea.
I used to clean house for an older lady who had handmade covers for each specific appliance. And they matched all her other kitchen towels.
Load More Replies...Fully depends on how often they are used. You'd have to drag the out each time.
Would Do - Any Non Reflective Splashback
Non-reflective surface leaves less to no streaks during cleaning.
Backsplash and cabinets are different. Also, as an owner of matte cabinets and glossy backsplash, the cabinets get gross almost instantly, and we only rarely have to clean the backsplash.
Load More Replies...Wouldn't Do - Matte And Black Matte Kitchen Cabinets Or Anything Matte
The moment you touch it, it leaves marks. Especially hard to clean oily stains. Looks stunning though.
maybe depends on what matte. i have matte and i am so happy, friend has glossy and despairs
My cousin who has money to burn has just had a new kitchen fitted, the doors are solid slate, I can't even think of the number of problems with that. No 1 is discolouration and stains, just *shudder*.
Really wish friends of ours had done this. 2 small children plus bad knees means she hardly ever cleans and the black matt looks awful
I have matte white stove/fridge & dishwasher. They don't show streaks and are very easy to clean. I truly hated my old stainless steel
Wouldn't Do - Pocket Like Kitchen Handles
Rarely get properly cleaned and disinfected deep inside. It is also a mission to do it.
No matter what type of handle you like, it is worth knowing that brass has natural antibiotic properties.
Bronze too, which I prefer the look of- it's the copper in each of these alloys doing the heavy lifting.
Load More Replies...Slightly better than those that are a shallow groove in the door or the type that, effectively, are the other way up to this type of handle. (Probably a poor description, sorry!) They collect dirt.
This is the case with all handles. If someone doesn’t clean these handles they won’t clean any other ones and vise versa
The number of times I've not grabbed properly and ended up snapping a nail off through the quick... (I don't mind short nails, I don't mind long nails, I mind jagged, bleeding ones.)
Wouldn't Do - Velvet Furniture
These are so beautiful, but almost never looks neat unless you don't sit or touch it. Leaves messy marks after every touch.
I have velvet furniture, it's really not an issue at all.
I like how you can make a sort of Shroud of Turin effect with your butt.
Load More Replies...Just get pet grade velvet. The easiest furniture surface to clean. Seriously, if I had known that before, my all furniture would be velvet.
I switched from a velvet couch to a cloth couch, and I gotta say the velvet was way easier to clean. Just a quick vacuum and easy to wipe down if needed
That is literally a picture of my couch but in a different green. I love it and wouldn't trade it for nothing.
The beauty of velvet is the sometimes crumpled look. It’s not supposed to be all brushed in the same direction all the time. I love velvet and it cleans up easily - for years!
Would Do - Countertop Integrated Vanity
Easy to clean and wipe down right to the sink. Splashes are contained on the surface and don't go all around the walls.
Now it's just missing the integrated sink (which is why stainless is my go to.) Sink corners get absolutely nasty.
I was bored one night after using my Water Pik, I put too much water in. I sprayed it under the lip and the amount of mold and mildew that came out was absolutely revolting.
Load More Replies...That sink has a lip all the way around it. It looks like a great breeding ground for germs and mold.
And any water spilled on the surface can just be swept into the sink.
I’m not a fan of how these look. Much rather have a stainless steal sink
Would Do - Shutter Blinds
If you still decide to have blinds, shutters are easier in maintenance.
I'll second that. When you're cleaning, the rigidity of shutters definitely makes things easier.
This one I have to argue a little simply for the fact that shutters even when open all the way block out a ton of natural light. I want the option to have all the light during the day and shutters make this impossible because of their frames.
Would Do - Modern Wooden Kitchen Cabinets Finish
In my opinion, it leaves less streaks and hides fingerprints well.
Nope. They are good while they are new, but most of them age pretty poorly and eventually all those nooks and crannies become too difficult to clean. We bought apartment with "wood finish" kitchen like that. A nightmare.
Wouldn't Do - Ceiling High Wardrobe Mirrors
As it's used often, there are always fingerprints and it's hard to polish at the very top.
Do you live with the Slenderman? Why would there be fingerprints at the very top? :D If you have proper grip strips (sorry, no clue how to call those things) on the side, you don't even have to touch the mirror
those are 2 different complains though. There are always fingerprints It is hard to polish the top
Load More Replies...I grew up with these in every bedroom. They are *not* hard to clean. If my mom ever saw a fingerprint/handprint on anything from us kids, we were made to thoroughly clean said surface. We very quickly learned to use the handles, and my brother stopped running his hands up the walls on the staircase. Seriously, for some of these things you would think the people were raised by wolves.
If you can't reach to clean the fingerprints, how do they get up there in the first place?
All kitchens should have a steam-cleaner feature like an instant hot-water hose that can reach anywhere and not drip. Super clean super fast. WHOOSH!
If it doesn't reach the ceiling it collects dust, spider webs, etc. OP suggested to have ceiling high kitchen furniture...
I don t like mirrors in general.......mostly because I can see myself XDDDDDDD
There is a device for tall windows and mirrors. Not a problem for me.
Could we PLEASE stop having entire AD articles here? That's the second one!
Some of these are pretty picky, like if they leave streaks. I guess it makes sense if you're designing your house. But if you're renting or have an old house, sometime you just gotta make do with what you've got and try your best.
Or if you are buying a home with someone else's choice of new kitchen and it's not really sensible to rip it all out as it's lovely, just not what you'd pick!
Load More Replies...Wouldn't do: The all white kitchen - unless you really enjoy cleaning all the walls, cabinets, etc daily. Splatter, grease all show all the time.
I kitchen is all white and I hate it. So dirty looking all the time. Been wanting to paint it ever since we moved in
Load More Replies...Wouldn't do: those sink bowls that sit on top of the vanity. Looks like a cleaning nightmare.
I actually kind of like that, but who has a cupboard big enough to easily store and retrieve these appliances?
Load More Replies...Can accept most of these reasonings. I always think about maintenance since I'm lazy.
