A Recent Pencil Drawing Of My Mom I Drew For Her Birthday.. 100% Pencils On Paper
This Portrait Was Painted By Leng Jun, And For The Sake Of Precision And Detail, It Is Clear Why This Is Currently Considered The Most Realistic Image In The World
In recent years, talks about personal accomplishments have been increasingly echoing the term growth mindset. According to the idea, it's the constant, incremental improvement that leads to success.
In other words, if you focus on perfecting the process instead of chasing results, the latter will naturally follow as a byproduct of your dedication.
So if you started working on a new project with expensive materials and little room for mistakes, it could be helpful to break down the task into smaller, manageable steps, providing yourself with opportunities to learn and improve along the way.

This Is The Handwriting Of Nepalese Yr 8 Student Prakriti Malla Which Was Recognized As The Most Beautiful Handwriting In The World
Beautiful penmanship, meanwhile in the US, some schools are no longer teaching cursive because "handwriting isn't relevant in the computer age "
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this isn't cursive I don't think, just pretty handwriting.
Load More Replies...This is lovely, but it's not cursive; it leans more towards calligraphy.
Absolutely beautiful handwriting. And not to nitpick but I found a typo, or that is a write-o in the second to last line in the second paragraph. The word “be” is used by mistake instead of “by”. I read the whole thing because it is such beautiful handwriting. I can’t believe how perfectly each letter stays on the line. Great accomplishment. I wonder if everything they write is in this beautiful handwriting and this perfect. Even a grocery list? “I’ll just jot this down.” Takes 5 minutes to list 4 items. Just fyi I am not mocking here. This is an amazing piece of art.
I do volunteer work tutoring high school students (mostly in math). I often meet students who can't write cursive and don't know how to read the time on a clock.
This is not cursive writing. cursive: “a type of writing in which all the letters in a word are connected to each other” ~ Merriam-Webster Dictionary, 2024
Can't teach everything. Not enough time in the world. Given that I'd much rather the time spent becoming a proficient typist than a proficient writer in cursive. Times change. We don't have fountain pens, or blotter paper or or ink wells on our desks anymore either.
My dad had beautiful handwriting, flowing and graceful and readable. The story we always heard was that he was left-handed, but growing up in Texas in the early 20th century, he was beaten until he learned to write with his right hand.
Extraordinary talent! My handwriting is legible, but not pretty like that! I am in awe!
beautiful, sadly mine looks like a spider jumped into an ink well then ran over a piece of paper
My father had amazing penmanship. Family and friends always thought he had Mom or one of his six girls write things out. Nope, totally him.
Why are some people saying cursive should be kept in schools or brought back? What for? They know how to write, kids do know how to write down their thoughts or messages. They just print. And for me, I never have to use cursive. The few times I have to write something down I'm always printing anyhow. Can anyone tell me where cursive would be that important to have? My kids don't need to learn it, and I'm glad they spend there learning time on other things instead.
Penmanship was very important at the start of the 20th century. The everyday use of a fountain pen has disappeared. 🙁
Beautiful. Wish I could write this well. I would rather employ someone with this level of skill in writing and spelling than someone with computer skills.
My cursive writing never looked half as good. I could have been a doctor.
wow amazing! Almost looks like a computer font I have. They only way you can discern this is hand written is the 9 in 2009 is a little darker as is SAT other than those discrepancies this is The prettiest hand writing I have ever seen. I am not criticizing ether those discrepancies make you know it is hand written and they don't diminish the beauty of the hand writing ether. Getting a letter done in this pretty of hand writing would make one feel very special because they took the time to write so pretty for you.
My auntie Mary wrote the most beautiful notes and letters, like natural calligraphy ...miss you bunches auntie
This young student has a potential well paying business in the near future by selling this skill to folks who would like to send a beautiful art piece of their words to lovers, friends, ex-employers, weddings, birth announcements & so on. This unique skill can pay for additional higher education and/or things wanted or needed in life. A definite work from home business if so desired.
It is really very beautiful, but would this be calligraphy rather than "handwriting?"
I appreciate this more I probably should: I can't agree more that handwriting is an important but ignored skill in this digital age.
Can we talk about the fact that they are citing research and doing it correctly and they are in grade eight?!
By whom? Who decides anything in this list as best in the world? Very nice but not uncommon. For example, Ankara Municipality employs a calligrapher. GKZL-o_XAA...a-jpeg.jpg
Sarah Jane got downvoted, so I'm going to repeat it: cursive is a useless skill.
You can actually write (legibly) faster in cursive than you can printing.

"All too often people when preparing for an event or performance think about all that could go wrong," psychotherapist and performance coach Jonathan Alpert told Bored Panda. "That only muddies their mindset, interfering with focus, and distracts them."
"Instead, focus on strengths — what do you bring to the event or performance? — that is the many weeks or even years of preparation, and the desire to achieve success, and expertise," the author of 'Be Fearless: Change Your Life in 28 Days' added.

Alpert, who works with many elite performers and leaders, suggests to "play it out in your mind and visualize the steps you will take on your big day."
"When you start to doubt yourself that only destabilizes your belief in yourself. Think of your belief as a table top with four legs. When you feel doubtful it is the equivalent of going over that table, grabbing a leg, and shaking it — it will make that table top (belief) less strong and less stable because you introduce negative thoughts into your mindset," he explained.

However, it's not just the preparation for and your performance that matter. You can also incorporate rituals or practices after you're done with it to improve further.
"It's not a bad idea to review your performance and try to understand what went well and what areas to work on," Alpert said.
"A performance can be diagnostic in some ways as it reveals what can be done to improve your game. Don't see any area of deficiency as a weakness, but rather as an opportunity for improvement that will make you stronger."

These people are amazing! Their artwork is stunning, while I am stunned
My first reaction is always, "Wow! So cool! These people are incredibly talented!" My second reaction is usually, "I'm going to spend the rest of my life sitting in a dark room somewhere because I have no talents."
Maybe sitting in a dark room with no talent can be your talent. If it is then we both can be talented, lol😋

Oh yeah? Well I'm an expert at reiterating nonsense that no one cares about.
At an art gallery last weekend, I learned I am not a fan of photorealistic pieces of art. Sure, I can appreciate the incredible skill, and talent being employed to create them, but I want art that moves me. An example was a beautiful drawing of a rhino. It was excellent. However, the sculpture of a puma was 'distilled essence of puma'. It was a faithful reproduction, instead, it was an interpretation. That's what I like in art.
Without a doubt, those wonderful works shown here display the talents that so many folks have but may not want to share. I hope many here will allow this BP article to open the doors of your own creativity very soon.
These are excellent and amazing! Here's something I made recently, it's a mushroom diorama that shows you the current weather outside. I made it with rubberized polymer clay to form the mushrooms and encapsulate the LED indicators It's powered by a microcontroller with a program that I wrote to retrieve data from the Internet. The top mushroom color indicates the temperature (the cooler the temperature, the cooler the color. The warmer the temperature, the warmer the color.) The left mushroom shows weather alerts - green = no alerts, yellow = weather watches, and red = major warnings. Finally the lowest mushroom indicates the humidity. The bluer the color, the more humid it is outside. I'm rather proud of it. https://i.imgur.com/57f457N.jpeg
That's very cool, congratulations on making an awesome piece.
Load More Replies...Not a fan of hyper-realism. That serves the purpose for academia but has no heart. To be technically correct -- just take a photo, it's at least faster. Artistic interpretation says so much about the artists and the times. Much more personal. Art makes you see other things and dream . . .
